You guys know that I love neutral decor. I mean, I hope you know that. It’s not like I don’t love color, because I do, but my cozy peaceful retreat is somewhere in between super neutral & eclectic pops of color. For fall decor I love sharing true fall colors like I did on our porch last week [HERE], this pear mantel I did [HERE], & in our dining room with amber bottles [HERE]. but today I wanted to show a super simple way you can do a super simple neutral fall mantel. I’ll be back very soon with less neutral fall decor & more neutral fall decor because you know that I always love to share inspirations with you guys. This mantel is all about natural elements from grape vines, eucalyptus, & white pumpkins…
I mean… does it get more neutral than this? This is our mantel in our living room & this little fall vignette was probably the easiest for me to throw together. I used eucalyptus bunches that I got from my local floral shop & laid the bunches all over the top of the mantel various ways to look a little wild & free like it would grow naturally outside. The eucalyptus wreath was made by my lovely friend ali from Mustard Seed Beginnings & I hung that above the mantel & after that I placed some white pumpkins I got from a local farm stand near our farm on top of the wild diy eucalyptus garland. I mean, can you get more simple? Nope. It’s neutral, simple, & took me five minutes. it doesn’t have to be super complicated to be pretty.
You could always use a faux garland, faux wreath, & faux pumpkins if the real deal isn’t you thing… only do what you feel comfortable with & better yet… use items you already have to save some money! You could use this neutral fall inspiration for many places in your home from mantels to entryway tables, to centerpieces, & so much more. Mixing eucalyptus and pumpkins is probably one of my favorite fall combos out there & it truly is the coziest simple way to bring fall into your home. Bonus: Add candlesticks into the fireplace to amp up the coziness factor. So, now I have to know… Do you like combining pumpkins and eucalyptus for fall? Let me know in the comment below, find me on Facebook, & chat with me on Instagram. Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & every day to see what we are up to! xx

So soothing and beautiful as always Liz! I’ve been doing more white and neutral decorating but some people don’t get it. Seems they don’t understand the beauty in neutral and question me as to where my colour is. I have plenty pops of colour everywhere but not the colours that scream at you! You always present your home in an inviting relaxed way that makes a person feel welcome,…….thanks!?
Love it! Love the way you’re rocking the neutral color and the lushness of it all.
This is just beautiful Liz! I love the neutral colors for fall. It’s so calming to me. Thanks again for always sharing your beauty, you’re love for home design and being so inspiring! I hope you have a great day my friend!

I love it! Especially the eucalyptus wreath.
But I have a question (again) how do you preserve the leaves?
