We love our four seasons here in Michigan, yes my southern readers, even Michigan winters. It turns out to be quite peaceful, quiet, and surprisingly refreshing. From Spring to Fall, we work on getting the inside of our house ready to be enjoyed all winter, since we spend so much time indoors during that part of the year. We wanted to focus on a little getaway for us to kick back and relax for the next few months, until the sunshine and t-shirt weather returns.
We wanted to accent our home with some beautiful farm feels, to help get us through those tough winter days. Those days where you haven’t seen the sun because you are approaching week two of straight overcast, we found Lindsay Megahed on Minted.com. I think we were gravitated to her art because of the tone of colors she used to display landscapes, it really felt familiar to Jose and I. And then I saw Fazed, the little cow piece. I hope this post inspires you that fall decor doesn’t have to be literal like pumpkins & and fall leaves it can be warm colors and cozy textures that makes your home transition into the autumn season.
Minted is a marketplace of independent artists so not only are you supporting independent artists all over the world but they also have such a wide range of styles. So if you have something in particular in mind, you are guaranteed to find a piece of art for your space. My favorite thing about it is, is you can filter colors and categories to thin out items that’ll be the best fit for you. I wanted to go for a pop of color for these dreary fall days so I chose to go with a blend of water colors from farm landscapes to my plant lady and farm girl favorites. My favorite part of the minted website is the ease of searching for art for you home. Need something for a nursery? There is literally an entire section for nursery art [HERE] . How cool is that? I like when things are easy especially in this sometimes complicated life. I hope that this post today shows you an easy way you can buy art for every room of your home all with supporting artists from around the world. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog as always and for seeing what we are up to?
Here are the art pieces we got to add around the house:

LOVE the imagery!! and art in these photos
Wonderful artistry! I’m confident they will look lovely in your home, no matter the season. They add an antique and vintage vibe to whole space. 🙂 But I have to say, your sofa is breathtakingly cozy with all the pillows and throws. Makes me want to curl on it and not move for a few days at least. 🙂 The jungalow spark that plants bring into space is also adorable.
So pretty!!!
