Ho Ho Ho!! I’ve been getting so many questions lately about my growing santa mug collection… honestly it just started this past month. I’m telling you once I start collecting things I kind of just dive right in. I posted about my Smeg appliances [HERE] last week & since then I’ve added some more to my collection & I’ve wanted to help you guys finds some since many people were asking where to get them. I have many of my santa mugs in the kitchen on the shelves & they are a mix of new & vintage finds. My friend Abby actually just found me a bunch of vintage santa mugs this past week… I have the best of friends. These shelves in our kitchen always hold my white dishes so the pops of red are so festive. Honestly my santa mug collection is mostly for show, but I have been using my new ones for hot cocoa if I’m feeling festive. So many of you had been asking where I got my santa mugs from so I gathered a list of some from vintage to new for you here on the blog today in case you wanted to start your own santa mug collection as well or if you just wanted one to enjoy your Christmas coffee with. I could always use another mug so I figured you guys could as well.
To make my shelves a little more festive I added a little red & white stocking garland from Michaels. Doesn’t it look a little vintage as well? You guys know that my style is mixing the old with the new so I think all of these old mugs & new mugs paired together are a perfect blend of my style. I looked up a little history on the santa mugs & found this from one website: “During the 1950s, Holt-Howard started designing Santa Claus coffee mugs and pitchers.” I read on and on about how Holt-Howard actually innovated how our coffee mugs are today & That after their Santa Mug introduction it came with a lot of imitations and makers after that. What I love about the antique & vintage santa mugs is how unique each one is & I love the charming hand painted ones the most! I don’t collect them for value but just for their cute little cheerful faces & I already get excited about passing these happy santa mugs down to my kids & watching their faces as we pull them out each Christmas. Speaking of value, here are a few more affordable appliances if you aren’t stuck on getting the Smeg appliances like we have:
I shopped around the internet & found a bunch of santa mugs for you guys from old & new & here are some that I found for you guys to decorate [& use] this Christmas season!! Places like Ebay, Etsy, & Amazon have new & old & everyone from Pottery Barn to World Market & more…Enjoy!!

Are your Smeg appliances white or cream?
Spode makes a Christmas place setting for kids that is unbreakable. My Granddaughter loves it and it has survived a few falls or throws on the floor.
