Here we are in the first week of January & we have hit the ground running. But like the good kind of running not like the running a marathon… more like running to get ice cream. We have been slowly de-cluttering and putting away all of our Christmas decor putting our home into winter mode. I shared last week some winter decor inspiration [HERE] & I will be sharing you guys around our house this winter a whole lot more soon. I’m popping on here today to say happy Friday & share tiny glimpses into the start of our winter home as we take down the Christmas decor and freshen the place up…

Lots of neutralizing and freshening of our spaces & I hope you can truly see that and be inspired by that from these tiny glimpses I shared today of our farmhouse. If you are in the process of taking down your Christmas decor this weekend, be sure to go [HERE] to get even more inspiration. I will be sharing a LOT MORE winter decor & more of these spaces very soon… THANK YOU so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to. xx
Love this type of clean white scandinavian interior design
Love this clean look , thank you for sharing this.
Once again asking about where to purchase the sheep featured in one of the photos???
Liz, a quick question? Where did you get the lamp in the photo with dogs at the top of the stairs?
It was from Magnolia… Joanna’s Favorite Lamp… unfortunately, now discontinued.

Oh thank you! Darn it. I’ll have to search for it elsewhere.
Beautiful as always! So cozy. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home! Just a quick question. Where did you get that beautiful wall clock?
I love all of the textures you use! Your home is so cozy.
I may have missed it, but have you given out the info on all the gorgeous, fun pillows that add texture to your sitting area? Also, you had a neutral throw with those yarn ball things (sorry, forgot what their called) placed on the couch…where was could I find that? Your farmhouse, blog and story are all such great inspiration to our family. ?
Love your sofa with all the pillows on it, your so talented did you and your husband make the sofa? Has a handmade comfy look to it. In love with it.
Hi. Just recently started following you. If it is not too personal, what do the numbers on the stairs represent. Thank you.
I’m a newbie to your post but I’m log in it. I just started making pom poms, I want to try and duplicate the pillow on your cozy couch. Love it all! Thanks
Hi! These are from our shop, The Found Cottage.
So pretty, Liz. Love your creativity and your style. Prayers for your 2019 to be blessed with the desires of your heart for a child.
Can I purchase them??
Oh what a great post! The idea regarding taking trash bags through the house in order to sort out things by keep/re-position or store, giveaway or sell really sounds doeable at this point of venturing into the new year decluttering. Although it is impossible to get it all together right now, ( we moved back into our farmhouse full-time and sold our home at the beach), at least this gives me some foothold leading to the path to having less stuff sitting around in corners and boxes. Thanks for this and more inspiration as usual, as we all need one another at one time or another. I miss having a bff or my sister living nearby to work through such times in life when you really need some input!
I love the fresh clean feel of a home that’s cleaned up after the Christmas decorations come down!!
Love your style! Would love to know where the khaki pillows with the cream pom poms came from…so cute!
your house looks so amazing love it
I love everything in your house
