I think I’m realizing one of my favorite things to share on the blog when it comes to home decor inspiration is corners. I don’t know what it is, but I find it so fun and inspiring to play around with decor in a corner and share it with you guys. I’ve done it many times before like [HERE] & [HERE] & I truly hope that each of these corners that I share offer some type of inspiration when you are decorating your homes…

I’ve had these large windows for quite a while now & they have been a few places around our house. You can see them in our front living room [HERE] styled totally different than they are here today. As I was moving them to a different room this weekend I stopped to set them in this corner and had the idea to hang them on separate walls so that they would meet in the center on the corner of the wall. They happen to fit perfectly in this corner of the office & I kind of love the greenhouse effect they gave to the space & they made my desire for spring decor even stronger. I simply hung the windows by screwing them to the walls through the frame because you know that I’ve never been scared of putting holes in the walls of our home. Once those windows were hung I placed an antique table that fit this corner perfectly & combined in a few ore antique finds like those drawers, that chair, & a few antique frames. The lamp from Magnolia is another star of the show. This would be a great place to display plants, move some things around to create a writing desk area, or even display some of your favorite things like family photos. You could do this with doors and really any other architectural salvage as well. The chippy pieces give a huge statement to the decor in here & really set the vibe of the space.

The takeaway from this little decor hour in the corner? Use the corner when decorating! Here we accented it by having these two pieces meet in the center & it works. Corners can be really hard to style especially on the wall space. Sometimes it’s tempting to hang a bunch of smaller items, but why not go bigger and hang two windows that meet in the corner. They don’t have to be this rounded shape, but even a square, rectangle, or more would look great here. I hope this post inspires you to decorate some corners in your home & as always if you try this in your home be sure to tag me so I can see! Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! xx
