This post is like one of those things that I’ve been envisioning in my mind, but that I never thought that I would be able to post visually for you guys because it would just remain one of those creative ideas in my head. Well, a couple weeks ago you guys remember when we had Renewal By Andersen here at the house replacing our windows? Before they came we had to shuffle some things around to clear a working zone for them for the window replacement. It wasn’t a big deal at all & we love moving furniture so it was actually kind of fun for us. Two big things we had to move around were a sofa & the computer desk. I decided to have a little fun with that big shuffle & have a decor daydream come to life…

I always wondered what our office would look like as a sitting room & this little shuffle allowed me to get a tiny glimpse into what that could look like. This sofa from our formal sitting room up front was shoved into this space in our office in front of our built-ins & these photos kind of prove that built-ins are a pretty neat backdrop to a sofa. Think of all the things you could display in these in a living room space like books, family photos, plants, & so much more. The sofa we moved in here is the one from our painted fox collection [HERE] & I think the design of this sofa goes well with all of our vintage collections we have displayed in here. A fun

Our office is not staying like this & will be switching back asap, but before I did that I wanted to share how this looks in case you have always wondered what this space would look like as a living room as well. Of course if I was actually going to make this a sitting room/ living room space I would make many many more changes, but I think just this tiny little change gives a good glimpse at all the potential. I love the idea of built-ins in the living room space from around the fireplace to around a window to even just filling a large wall space. I hope this post inspires you in some way & as always thank you SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to… it means the world! xx

Looks GREAT!!!! I have always wanted a library in my house…well not the house I have now but my dream home! My library would be floor to ceiling ( 14 feet ceilings!) with a ladder! Reminiscent of an English mini mansion. These shelves would take two entire walls of the room and have a ladder too! Yours looks fantastic! You inspire me with every new post!
ADORE THIS INSANELY GORGEOUS ROOM. NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE DOES IT BETTER. YOU ARE TRULY GIFTED. GIVE BABY COPE HUGS AND KISSES. ADORE YOUR FAMILY ❤️
Great now where am I going to put my horsdoeuvres? Lol just kidding that space looks amazing!
It does look great Liz! I am always moving stuff around Too!!
I think it looks nice!
Love your collections and how you have them displayed. I’m fairly new to your blog, may I ask if your father or f-I-l was a doctor? Just curious what inspired the collections.
I probably would decide to keep the room as is, and get another couch for the formal room.
Beautiful!! Please tell me what that gorgeous paint color is on your door. I just love it! It has that antique patina vibe which I love.
Sweet Liz Marie,
I just think it has all the right touches and it is magnificent!!! I wish and dream someday I will have it in my bones to be able to naturally know where and how to fit things together. The end result of each project even if, temporary is heavenly honey!!! Congratulations on all the new things going on in your lives. God Bless you both

It looks amazing but I need that sofa! ?❤️?
Liz is looks beautiful and the chandelier looks great over the sofa. I would have never thought about doing that but acuseeing it makes me want to do it. We currently don’t have any lighting in the ceiling in our living room but I am going to figure out a way to make it happen! Thanks for sharing Liz
I flipflopped my living and dining rooms as my family grew and I needed all the leaves in the table , all the time! Love it!
What a nice style! I really love the colors! I was wondering, are those bottles on the top shelf made of Murano glass? Because some vintage Murano objects would look nice on your bookshelf!
