No, I haven’t blogged this space. Well, I kind of did, but I gave it a new look today & had to show you what it looks like now because it’s even more of my greenhouse decor passion that I always share here on the blog. I think before I share what it looks like now, I need to share what it looked like before the changes this weekend…

It was lovely, but you know that I always want to try new things & once I get a new idea I have to see what it will look like & then I share it here on the blog in my decorating ramblings in hopes that it will inspire you guys in some way or another. For this one I hope it inspires you on ways to decorate for spring, ways to decorate with windows, & ways to decorate with antique garden finds… so much in such a small space! Here is what it’s looking like today…

The big change? THOSE WINDOWS! I find those on an antique excursion the other day & I instantly knew I wanted to try them in this greenhouse spring vignette in our entryway… you know, the one that I blogged [HERE]. So I took down the huge gallery wall [don’t worry all things are saved & I can pop the wall back up at any time thanks to command strips!] Don’t panic! I never do.. I love changes & I love trying new things. I’ve said it before, but our house is my canvas. Like another artist uses a paint brushes and a canvas… I use our home to show and share ideas from my brain. Of course there are some other little changes like that antique chair next to the table that I’m going to deconstruct [tutorial coming soon], but I wanted to share it with the old fabric on it first because I thought it was bright and happy. I’ve been really feeling the “fallish” colors for spring this year & I’m not sure why, but let’s roll with it. Those round pillows? They are from my girl tailored haven’s collection over at Painted Fox & most of everything else that’s added are antique items, but I hope this inspires you to look for these things the next time you are out antiquing!

I’m loving the big windows showcased in this vignette & I still can’t believe I found these… I’m actually thinking of 900 other ideas of where to put them, but they are here for now & I hope that this post inspired you with me using them here in this vignette. Be sure to see the original post about this spot [HERE] if you want to see more details. THANK YOU so much for stopping by the blog today & every other day to see what we are up to.. it means the world! Follow me on Instagram for more inspiration [HERE]. xx
Absolutely love those windows. The shape is so pretty! I loved the entry before but this is a beautiful change! Very spring looking! Can’t wait to see post about the deconstrution of the chair! Love that to….. Take care. ????????
Oh Liz that window was an amazing find.. and that wicker “ bee hive” love that as well. You have such a gift of putting it all together. ❤️This
It is beautiful. A year from now I’m betting it will look very different. Your baby boy will be walking and “climbing”.
Much more “springy”! Love I!
Love the windows and more simplified look.
I am…inspired that is but then you always inspire me. Thank you so much.
Liz! I just adore how you “re-styled” this entry way for spring!!! I really love the color of the fabric on those chairs too!! I think it’s a beautiful rustic burnt orange that can bring happy to any space ❤️Keep creating girlfrand!!! We all love the inspiration that you and Jose bring ❤️❤️
I agree but I’m sure you come up with creative ways to decor around him!!!
A tip for indoor plant lovers. Buy two and rotate. Place one in good light and decorate in tough light places with the other plant. A week is about the longest before switching them. Works! Succulents And baby’s tears really reach for the light & quickly become leggy as you have noticed. This works to keep them tightly formed. Switching 4-5 days is best.
Those windows are so nice, would love to have seen the old house they belonged to. Your vignette is so unique and i love it.
What a great post! Now, I am getting motivated to feature something garden related. Spring is definitely in the air. P.S. your dog is adorable!
Love the windows & your jeans.
Having a greenhouse is in my bucket list! This is so beautiful and has great character! Beautiful windows and I love this little drawer chest-awesome piece!
And the dog, oh my! Very cute!
Never stop being creative! Love that little dog-way too much of a distraction but definitely loved. You have achieved a greenhouse design/vibe in this space. Love it!
I bought a sibling to the chair I think! Only green. Anywho I ripped some of it apart and I can’t wait to see what you do with yours!
What a gorgeous vignette! I love everything about it, the window is gorgeous. Can you tell me where you found the Bee Skep?? Thank you in advance, I love your Instagram page!
