I know I’ve been sharing my mantel so much lately, but I’ve been feeling super inspired lately to play around with it. Maybe it’s not inspiration, but more like something I’ve enjoyed playing with as Cope naps in the living room.. Let’s face it, I’m a new mom who never likes to leave the room when their baby is sleeping. I’ve been collecting silhouette prints for a few years now & if you remember I had them in a gallery wall in our guest bathroom, but as of late since taking them down I haven’t had a place for them so I decided to play around with them on my mantel today…

A fun spin on my cottage greenhouse mantel [HERE] I did a few weeks ago huh? I love doing things like this where I show a space styled in two different ways to hopefully inspire you and show you what some small tweaks can do to a space. For this look, I hung some of my silhouette prints and layered some on the mantel with some of the items I used in the last mantel look like that antique window, terra-cotta pots, & of course some greenery. This is another great example of layering decor which I blogged about this week [HERE]. All the layers make this look super cozy & really interesting.

I hope all of these mantel looks I’ve done lately inspire you in some way & show you some unique and fun ways to decorate a mantel. This one is really different than anything I’ve ever done before, but it was fun to play around during nap time with my antique finds. You can see some more simple ways to decorate a mantel that I did [HERE] where I shared some tips on how to style any mantel. I hope that post helps as well! Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to.. it means the world!
I am in love with silhouettes, so much so that I have a Cameo tattoo. I love the simplicity of the ones you have in your collection.
I have a silhouette of my son when he was 2 or 3. I love it and it sits on my chest of drawers in my bedroom. He is 28 now and so this is a sweet memory my baby

Love your style and creative edge. The mantle is simply stunning and so gorgeously unique. My decor theme is black and white with vintage chairs (Queen Anne). Love the shapes of older furniture and mixing with a little modern here and there. Our homes are the perfect canvas to design an ambiance that speaks to our hearts and feel at ease with things around us we cherish. Just discovered this blog and couldn’t take my eyes off that mantle. Thank you for sharing your personalized style and talents.
