We take taco night very serious in the Galvan household. Jose remembers growing up having tacos every week. Regardless if there was time to sit as a family or it was a grab and go because everyone was so busy, he looks back at that simple meal as a whirlwind of memories. We hope to create those memories with Cope around many meals at the table and on the run. We like to change up our recipes from time to time so we grabbed a shrimp taco recipe from Martha Stewart. I couldn’t stop there, I am in love with her white lanterns and wire basket. After a trip to the local plant nursery I found some summer greenery to fill them with & it really brought the table to life. Here is my simple summer tablescape I created today for our taco night. I told you that I take it seriously!

In my humble opinion lanterns make the simplest & easiest centerpieces. They are enough of a statement piece on their own & can be paired with so many different things for each season. For summer some fresh greens is all they needed!! Also I need your help … Do you have a favorite meal that your family makes each week? I’d love if you left me your favorite recipe in the comments so we can create some new memories in our home. Check out those lanterns large & small, the wire basket, and more at Macy’s! PS I wanted to let you know they are having a HUGE sale that ends on July 7th & if you are interested in these you can get them for a great price. Xx Liz Marie
So beautiful Liz! We love spaghetti with homemade tomato meat sauce. It simmers all day and is really so delicious. Some garlic bread and a salad and you can’t go wrong. Plus it’s super easy to prepare. If you’d like my families recipe let me know!
Have these same chairs – love your cushions! Where can I get some like them?
Beautiful summer table! Where did you buy your chair cushions?
Hi Liz,
I too love your kitchen chair pillows.
Would you mind sharing where you purchased them?
Thanks,
Carol
