I gave you guys a sneak peek of this tv stand a few weeks ago on Instagram and I can’t believe it took me this long to share it on the blog! I saw this antique stand at a market and immediately knew I had to have it. Once we got it in our house I knew I wanted to try it as a TV stand!

Depending on the way our living room is set up, sometimes we have a TV in here and sometimes don’t! I wanted to share this look, in particular, to show you guys one way I hide our tv in our décor. I got this antique sign at a market & it actually is made of a really lightweight material, which was perfect for hiding our tv behind. Whenever we aren’t watching tv, I rest this sign against the television to hide it! Because it is really lightweight it won’t tip over or knock the tv over and its really easy for us to move around. You can find the download for this sign [HERE].

I absolutely love that the stand had space below the shelf for more storage. I got these storage baskets from World Market [HERE] and you can find more baskets like this [HERE]. they are perfect for storing a bunch of different things! Let me start by saying I know that these baskets are expensive. You can totally get cheaper wicker baskets and achieve the same look. I was willing to invest in these baskets because they are really large, I loved the color of the wicker, and they come with lids. We keep our baskets filled with toys & blankets … And not going to lie they are super handy to quick hide things in when guests are coming over! I loved these baskets so much I bought another one for toy storage in our sunroom.

So many of you have loved the garland I’ve been showing in my Instagram. I found these fig leaf branches that are super similar to the garland that is available on Amazon [HERE]. They are a bit pricey but they come with 6 branches in a pack! Thank you guys so much for visiting the blog today & every day to see what we are up to. Xx Liz Marie
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing, it’s a great idea. Could you possibly share a photo of how it looks with the actual TV without the sign. I was really hoping to see that.
Thanks!
I love the cart! I have my TVs mounted but I’ve been thinking of putting a picture frame around them.
Love this idea. Living in 840sq ft, the TV is always a challenge. Right now it’s in a beachy, shuttered armoire. I’ll use this idea for a larger one in the future…Love, love, love….and thanks!
My TV is the one part of my living area that I hate looking at (unless I’m watching it) so I really love the idea of adding a large vintage sign or piece of artwork to hide it. Thank you so much for the idea!
