A few weeks ago I shared our farmhouse fall porch steps but today I wanted to share with you more of our porch! It has been a while since I shared our porch décor on the blog & I am so excited to have finally decorated it again! After finishing our porch steps I just felt like fall needed to extend to more of the porch and I wanted to incorporate more of those fall colors … I am so obsessed with how it turned out…

I honestly didn’t spend much time working on this space & just took a few minutes to add a few simple fall touches to it. To incorporate more fall elements into the porch I brought in different textures and colors. I added in a bunch more of these dried cornstalks, I love not only the texture they bring but that they are an element from nature … I used this as a way to tie together the porch steps and the rest of the porch as well. Of course, I had to add a few throw pillows and blankets to our rocking chairs. It’s getting a bit chilly here in Michigan and we definitely need a blanket to enjoy sitting out here on the porch!

Have I ever told you guys how much I love these rocking chairs? We got these rocking chairs earlier this summer from Little Cottage Co. & we sit out here so much now. It was a dream of mine to get rocking chairs for our porch and I couldn’t be happier to have them. What is more farmhouse than rocking chairs on a porch? I’m not quite sure there is anything! It’s so relaxing for our little family to sit outside on our porch and spend time together. Isn’t that just the dream to grow old in this home, sit on this porch, and make a bunch of memories? I feel like there is just something about a porch that needs a rocking chair! Anyone else agree, do you have rocking chairs on your porch?

So, that’s a glimpse at this side of our fall porch. I hope it inspires you in some small way.. you can check out more of our fall porch [HERE] & more of our fall decor from this year & years past [HERE]. THANK YOU for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! xx
Yes it is chilly in Michigan 32 degrees this morning! Where are your shoes?
Happy Fall, Liz! I do have a couple of rockers on my front porch; love them! Hey, I have a question: where do you store all of your seasonal decor? I have to keep things pretty simple just because I haven’t the space to store much.
Oh! And, I go barefoot a lot, as well.

I am loving all of your fall porch inspiration. You just take cozy to a whole new dreamy level
Love the table, where is that from?
Everything else looks great too as always 🙂
Liz,
LOVE your Autumnal decor upon the Porch!
That chalk drawing is so~o~o inspiring!
Autumn speaks to me to slow down and surround yourself with family and friends!
Porch perfection!

I have 2 white rockers on my porch. I’m interested in where you keep seasonal storage, too. Ours is in clear boxes in the shed so we do out with one season and in with the other. Some bloggers have a spare room with bookcases full of their seasonal storage.
I love that you brought a “stand out” piece to the front porch decor! The table is perfect!

You are so right rocking chairs are a must on a farmhouse porch. You certainly have a lovely and relaxing place to sit with all your Fall decor and what cute company you keep, Cope is growing so fast.
Your little guy is simply the cutest!!!!! Our son is adopted and every year we celebrate his final adoption day as well as his birthday….don’t know if people do that anymore, but we always have, my son is now thirty, so that tradition started a long long time ago. Lol, love your style, love your porch!!!! Happy Halloween!! Happy Fall!
Please post a link to the gorgeous textured throw with tassels! I have been searching for a good one – hubby bought a leather couch and it’s great but needs a little softening.
