Ahhhh I’m so excited to be sharing Christmas looks for 2019 here on the blog! Yesterday I shared our cozy Christmas bed [HERE] & this mantel I’m sharing here today is also in our bedroom. Last year Jose built this DIY fireplace in our room which you can see [HERE]. This fireplace made our room so much cozier & still can’t believe that Jose built it. It is even equipped with a hidden door to hide a TV & another hidden door to hide electronics… so cool! If you guys are a longtime follower of me, you know that I love doing different looks for the holidays & seasons to share more inspiration with you. For this look I wanted to create a nostalgic ode to Christmas’ past with a mix of vintage & new…

The main focus of this look in my humble opinion are these vintage Christmas prints in antique frames. Each of the prints depicts a moment of the holiday season that instantly makes me feel nostalgic. For me, they are nostalgic because my grandma had prints like this displayed in her home during the holidays … But for others, they may be nostalgic because they lived in scenes like this… Either way the antiques give that cozy nostalgic vibe I love so much.

These cozy knit stockings are one of my favorite styles of stockings this season, from Crate&Barrel [HERE]. I used a cedar garland from Target [HERE] on the mantel & I love how real it looks along with being super affordable. I draped this white bead garland also from Target [HERE] with the cedar garland. To tie it all together & make it even more nostalgic I was SUPER excited to find this vintage-inspired brass village that Target [HERE] & [HERE] added to their Christmas decor this year. It honestly looked like something that I would find at an antique shop… good job Target! I love how the brass cityscape reflects the images in the prints behind them. This is one of those heirloom pieces that I feel like will be used for years to come for us.

To top off this look I used a wreath from The Accidental Farmgirl that gives me some vintage vibes from it. I love how this white pom wreath cozy’s up the whole Christmas mantel & had a little pop of red that goes with the Christmas prints…

A super simple Christmas look that brings it all back to the “good old days”. I hope that this mantel inspires you in some way to layer antiques with new items and some nature to get a super Cozy Christmas look. Thank you guys SO MUCH for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to.
This is so beautiful Liz! I love the prints…the past few years I’ve used Currier and Ives Prints in my decor! I found an old (large) book with the entire collection of Currier and Ive’s prints and love displaying the book too!

I love this look, but can’t find prints like this in my area. Things are getting so slim to non when it comes to finding true authentic prints. Liz, I just started following you this year, but love seeing that others, love old things as much as I do. Wondering if you could tell me if you ordered your slipcover for the chairs or had to have them special made?
Gorgeous!! How do you attach the branches? Or are they just laid in place? Thanks in advance!
