The winter months call for all of the cozy warm drinks. Whether you are a fan of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or all of them ... this Hot Cocoa Bar idea is perfect for your holiday party or if you are loving the cozy drinks you could keep it up all season long! I'm personally a HUGE fan of all those cozy drinks so this cocoa bar could be altered for any party & any mood you are in. The essentials for a hot cocoa bar are mugs, hot cocoa, and your favorite toppings. Of course, I added in a few extras because you know I had to go all out for this hot cocoa bar & a fun gathering we had this weekend...

The main part of the hot cocoa bar is my Smeg Kettle that I have plugged in here that heats my water up in minutes to make my cozy drink. I keep a variety of hot cocoa out & also some sweet treats in these tins to grab. For Christmas time I, of course, had to include some of my favorite Santa mugs in the hot cocoa bar [GET THEM HERE]. In case you missed it I shared my full Santa mug collection [HERE] along with a bunch of sources for them & . But if you wanted to keep hot cocoa bar out all season long you could easily substitute with your favorite cozy mugs & additives for a tea or coffee bar.

The most fun part of the cocoa bar? I had this gingerbread house rug by our back door & honestly I felt like it wasn't living it's full potential.. until now. I decided to hang the rug above my cocoa bar & I'm obsessed with the touch of whimsy it added. Here are some other items that I included in my hot cocoa bar...

If you plan on doing a hot cocoa bar at your holiday party I would have this setup & ready to go when your guests arrive. This is the perfect way to kick off the celebration and get something warm and cozy in their hands! I find giving guests something to eat or drink right at the start of the party is a great way to get things started [& help hold them over until dinner]. I like buying a premade hot cocoa mix that you can add milk or water to because it's easier, but if you desire you can always make it from scratch!

I had so much fun creating this Hot Cocoa Bar & I highly encourage you to be as creative and festive as you can with a spot like this! If you decide to recreate this be sure to take a photo & tag me on Facebook or Instagram. I'd love to see how your hot cocoa bars turn out. And don't forget to load up on the toppings, the more the merrier! Thank you for visiting the blog, it means the world to me. Xx Liz Marie
