I shared a sneak peek of these gorgeous architectural salvage mirrors on my Instagram stories this week & am so excited to share exactly how we styled them! We had this huge wall in our living room that I knew I wanted to do something with but wasn’t sure how to fill the space. I went antiquing a few weeks ago and spotted these gorgeous mirrored doors at a local antique shop.

For this wall I knew I needed something really big, I wanted a statement piece. These mirrored doors were exactly what I was looking for. Now don’t get me wrong you could totally find a way to actually use these as doors… I wanted them to just be a statement piece though. These mirrored doors are on our long wall in our living room between two sets of french doors that lead out to our front porch.

I love the idea of using architectural salvage for a different purpose, which is why we decided to just use these doors as mirrors. They truly brighten up the entire room by reflecting all the natural light in the day and the lamp light at night. I love using mirrors in rooms that are a little bit darker or smaller because it helps enhance the entire room by reflecting all the light and making the space look bigger. Soon we’ll have even more windows in our living room (future project coming soon) and these mirrored doors will help to make the space feel even brighter after that!

You guys know I love a piece with a chippy cozy texture & these mirrors are exactly that. I haven’t changed our living room up in a while, so this has been a really exciting new addition to this room. I love how cozy it feels in here with the different textures these doors brought into the space! I have made some other fun changes to the space this week because I’ve been craving some simple changes so I will blog those asap to share the inspiration. A new mirror and flipping the furniture makes this room feel so fresh and new!! Thank you guys so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day.. it means the world to me! xx

Beyond Gorgeous!! Love the drapes next to them? Where did you get those?
Great find. They look absolutely stunning. Currently refurbishing our new house and can’t wait to add a few new old pieces to the new surroundings.
Just curious. When you have something that tall and heavy, how do you secure them? Are they attached to the wall with hinges? They look amazing!
AWESOME, I ❤️ Thinking outside the box
