Each week I like to try and pick a theme for the scroll stopper’s blog post. Sometimes it’s easier than others. This week was one of those easy weeks! Each of these exteriors was so eye-catching. That’s really the definition of a scroll stopper. A photo that is so eye-catching and inspirational it stops you mid-scroll. So this week’s theme is cozy exteriors! Have you ever had the chance to see victorian gothic architecture in person? This Village in London was built in the 1860s and is still standing today! @sparrowinlondon shared it on his page and I can’t stop thinking about what it would be like to spend a quiet evening in one of these historical buildings!

This cozy exterior shared by @hemahosaugust is so gorgeous! As I look at this image I imagine a life so different than mine yet so angelic. A simple farmhouse on the water in Sweden… I would love to visit one day!

We traveled to Edinburgh as a part of our first international trip as a family! Ever since I have been dreaming of the day that we go back! I follow @travel.in.edinburgh to escape and dream of what that time will be like. I hope it includes staying in a cozy cottage like this one.

I know, I know. Another image of a cozy cottage in the countryside. I can’t help that this is where my happy place lies! This image by @thecottagejournal and @grahamcustance shows a picturesque village.

This is probably an image that you wouldn’t imagine seeing as a part of this photo series. I was stopped by the ivy trailing up the chimney. @vivirdesign shared this contemporary home that is so inviting and ( I’m sure) great for outdoor entertaining!

What do you think of these cozy exteriors? Do you have a favorite photo from this week? Let me know on Facebook or Instagram! Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
