If this is your first time visiting a scroll stopper’s blog post, welcome! You may be wondering what a scroll stopper is. I am constantly saving inspirational images that I scroll past and have to stop and admire because of how striking they are. I love compiling them into blog posts to share with all of you in hopes that they too will inspire you! If you would like to see past scroll stoppers click here [HERE]. This week’s images all feature cozy flooring!
1.
This kitchen (shared by @a.cotswold.lifestyle @jorisvanapersstudio) is truly so inspiring. I enjoy the dark colors, open shelving, and antique island. I could go on and on. You can tell there is history in the cozy flooring by the aging that has occurred and I love that feature so much!

2.
Another stunning kitchen, this time by @helennorman @amaryllisinc. It isn’t often that you see artwork displayed in a kitchen, let alone displayed above windows and doorways. This is such a great idea that brings another level of the cozy cottage to the room.

3.
I know you’re probably thinking, “Liz, this is so dark, don’t you stand by having crisp, white walls?” While this is not my usual style, II am in love with this pantry by @papiliokitchens! The way that that pantry items stand out against the dark walls and shelving is so striking.

4.
This is such a great mudroom! The photo, by @max_rollitt @horwodphoto, peaks into a quiet place that is of great importance. Oftentimes the mudroom is the first and last room that we enter in all of our homes. It serves many purposes. I think the table in the center of this room is a great feature!

5.
Look at that gallery wall! @ispydiy did such a great job with this entry space. The herringbone flooring, antique bench, and dark spindles mix so nicely with each other!

What do you think of this week’s scroll stoppers? I love the variety of cozy flooring in each! Let me know on Facebook or Instagram. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
