Every year I love sharing over the top fall looks with pumpkins. If you kept with us you probably have seen more porch to my tablescapes. Some years we have grown our own pumpkins and other years we’ve support local growers. I have worked faux pumpkins into my looks before, but typically the faux pumpkins are not anchors, nested into a design because honestly they didn’t look close to being real. I love working with real pumpkins in our spaces, growing them, & supporting local farms by purchasing real pumpkins from them, but sometimes a faux pumpkin is nice & works better. Especially when they look real…
This year I found these faux pumpkins, and my goodness no matter how close you get they look so real. I did buy a bunch of them and, I have to be honest, they aren’t that cheap. But for what we do here on the blog, we provide interior design inspiration, and for those that love fall decor like we do, these are great investment items to have for years to come. Our view is that, after about two years these pumpkins would have paid for themselves when compared to all the real pumpkins we purchase. I mean, you have all seen how many pumpkins we put on our porch and in our home in the fall. We love them. You can find all the pumpkins in this post [HERE] or by clicking the pumpkin images below:
My collection ranges from 1 to 5 lbs here, so much lighter and easier to handle than real ones. They are made out of resin so weather shouldn’t be a problem, however direct sunlight may cause discoloration. I’ll have to test that for you guys over time. I can seem myself using these anywhere I have used real pumpkins in the past, but clearly what makes these awesome is that they won’t rot. So in outdoor setting, if you have critters that eat pumpkins these faux pumpkins are great alternatives. Tablescapes clearly are one of my favorite spaces, especially during the fall and winter months. Our toddler also tested them today by playing with them & they seem kid proof which is a bonus!
If you are planning on having those beautiful pops or fall decor, I already would highly recommend investing in a few of this faux pumpkins from Wayfair. Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and every other day it truly means the world to us here on the farm. And bring on the fall inspiration.
