Halloween is just a couple of weeks away and I wanted to style a few more spooky looks before the holiday is over. While I don’t decorate a ton for Halloween, I do enjoy styling a few vignettes here and there while putting my touch of subtle cozy onto it. Plus, this year Cope is super into all things spooky, which is super fun! We love talking about vampires, ghosts, zombies, and my inspiration for this look, witches! Today I am sharing a simple spooky Witches Hat Halloween mantel that you can create in just a few minutes.
This simple vignette only really needs two halloween items to get all the spooky vibes, it doesn’t have to be witch hats and crows. Think of a larger anchor halloween decor item and a few smaller items to scatter around. Paring different size items, helps create a scene that isn’t restricted to only the mantel. The mantel is clearly the focus of this look, but for larger rooms, brining elements down, like this coffee table, helps tie the room even more.
I loved the idea of elevating the Witches Hats up on these pop-top glass bottles. At first glance, you don’t see the bottles to give the illusion of the hats floating, adding to the spookiness in this room. I shared in last weeks blog post, Cozy White Jack-O’-Lantern Mantel, how I used these same pop-top glass bottles as candlestick holders. When it comes to decorating, especially whimsical looks around for the different seasons, save your money where you can, using items you already own to achieve the look you are going for. As you can see the pop-top bottles are a simple multi-purposed item, but nearly anything around the house can be used in your looks. I had a few extra pop-top bottles and used them on the coffee table for candlestick holders.
