This photo was one of those photos that I absolutely needed to have in the book. If you remember from my first book, I was not a mom during the writing of that book. However, once we adopted Copeland I had my publishing company edit a photo of him into the book so that he could be a part of it. It was in this exact place in our home in this same post. Now almost 2 years later, Cope was along for the ride of writing this book and I just knew we needed to recreate this photo.

While I really enjoy sharing grand large-scale moments in our home, quiet everyday moments are also super important. Therefore I really wanted to share this detailed shot of a Christmas table that I included in Cozy White Cottage Seasons.

I wanted to share another Christmas photo because it is that time of year and I know you are looking for Christmas inspiration. This book will offer so many Christmas tips but also general winter tips as well. That’s what I enjoyed about writing Cozy White Cottage Seasons. I wanted to make sure to hit on all of the major holidays, but also the other quiet moments that carry us through the year as well.

This photo is a part of Tip Number 5 which is a cozy recipe for a Lavender Latte. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I always have a beverage in hand. Creating this lavender latte to share with you was something I really wanted to do in the spring chapter of the book. I love how feminine and dainty this vignette is to display the yummy drink.

This photo appears in the summer chapter of the book. I just loved the way our mudroom looked at this time with the sink and gardening supplies. While our mudroom doesn’t look like this anymore I love that I have photos to document this time in such a special place in our book.
