Every year, I like to style a hot cocoa bar at Christmas time. While it makes for a fun addition to any party or get-together that you are hosting during the winter months, it’s also a great way to enjoy the season. Whether you are hosting a large holiday party or just looking to enjoy some warm drinks with your family. This hot cocoa bar is sure to be an instant hit. You can keep it as simple or as detailed as you want! I have styled both, but today I am sharing a cozy neutral hot cocoa bar.

As I’m sure you know, I love to use neutral decor. I think they compliment any style that you’re going for. For this particular Hot Cocoa Bar, I used a lot of the things I already had in our home. Really, you can use any cozy kitchen items that you have while also mixing in Christmas plates, mugs, greenery, or yummy treats. I like to use lots of different types of decor both Christmas and every day. From Santa Mugs, marshmallows, chocolate shavings, candy canes, peppermint sticks, and other fun additions at the end.

To fill the hot cocoa bar itself, I grouped all of my favorite Christmas treats. Chocolate-covered pretzels, cookies, peppermint sticks, and candy canes! I also added some clear glass holders for the marshmallows and mini chocolate chips (for hot cocoa).

To decorate around the perimeter, I used some of my neutral-colored Santa mugs as the backdrop. I’ve been using this same set of mugs for the past 3 Christmases! To make these mugs more festive, I grabbed some cute Christmas houses from a local shop and added some red and white linens. During the Christmas season, I think both red and green turn into neutral options.
