Happy Friday, Friends! This week we spent a lot of time hopping between our store, The Found Cottage, and home as we prepare for several events happening in the coming weeks. Life looks a lot like this these days. Focusing on being home as a family, cleaning and organizing our home for the year’s projects, while also being at the store and working to make it the coziest it can be. All while trying to stay warm! Is anyone else getting sick of the cold, winter weather and ready to get outside in the garden? I definitely am! Here are some of my favorite things from the week!
1.
Each year during the cold, winter months we like to use the extra time that we are spending indoors to get small, refreshing home projects done. While this year we are changing that a little… ok a lot, by cleaning out our home, organizing, and preparing for the year’s projects, I still wanted to paint our doors in the back living room! We’re Heading to California! Next month we are so excited to be getting away for our first book signing of the year! We’ll be at the Barnhouse Vintage Market on February 25th and 26th signing books, sitting on a panel, and visiting with so many of you! In between working at the store this week and preparing for events, we have been going through our home, cleaning, and organizing in what we are calling the White Cottage Farm Clean Out! This week I started taking decor out of it’s respected spaces, whipping everything down, and finding space to store all of the decor! Check out what I did in the kitchen here [HERE].
