Each time I see a photo of library shelves I stop and admire the wall of books mixed with cozy home decor. So many of these images have inspired our home and seeing them helped make the decision to open back up our library shelves at White Cottage Farm. I’m sharing 5 of those library shelf images with you today as a part of my weekly scroll stoppers blog series. If this is your first time check out a scroll stoppers blog post of mine, you may be wondering what a scroll stopper is. Each week, I share a set of images that I have been inspired by and have stopped me mid-scroll in hopes that they also inspire you in some way. If you would like to see past week’s scroll stoppers, click here [HERE]. For now…let’s check out 5 images highlighting library shelves.
1.
This quiet, cozy scene shared by @leahoconnelldesign is truly so inspiring. I love the fact that the library shelf is built around the door; a great solution for once unused space.

2.
A quiet corner in the @haslingtonhouse has me thinking about a vacation to the Victorian Countryside to see experience this space for myself. Also…look at that detail they have created through the crown moulding the library shelf wall.

3.
For many homes, a full wall of shelves to dedicate to books may not be feasible. This antique cabinet that @velvetandlinen is the perfect solution. Truly any shelf can be turned into a library shelf.

4.
@paigekontrafouris is one of my favorite accounts to follow on Instagram because of her timeless home decor style. This library shelf scene that she styles throughout the seasons always stopped me because of the ways that she adds seasonal decor to this classic book wall.

5.
The color tones in this cozy room shared by @slow_roads warm me up just looking at it. I love the use of natural wood throughout the room. From furniture, flooring, and shelves. The wood mixed with colorful books and textiles makes this such an inviting space.

I would love to know…if you were to have a library shelf in your home (maybe you even do currently) what is one book that you would have on it? Let me know on Facebook or Instagram. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
