In my first design book, Cozy White Cottage, I share that the dining room is a place where our sense of cozy comes not only from our full bellies but also our full spirits. A chair at the dining room table means a place to belong. I always find dining rooms so special and intimate as they hold so many memories. That is why I wanted to share 5 Dining Table images today as a part of my scroll stoppers series.
If this is your first time checking out a scroll stopper’s blog post of mine, you may be wondering what a scroll stopper is. Each week, I share a set of images that I have been inspired by and have stopped me mid-scroll in hopes that they also inspire you in some way. If you would like to see past week’s scroll stoppers, click here [HERE]. For now, let’s check out some dining table scroll stoppers.
1.
Rooms painted a dark and moody color allow for other elements of the room to really pop. That’s exactly what happens in this dining area shared by @heidicaillierdesign. I love how the white dining table and black walls are broken up with texture in the patterned bench and flooring. And that antique sheep photo? I need one!

2.
This dining nook by @lyke_minded is so cozy! There’s so much to look at from that amazing fireplace, pendant light, and the rounded bench.

3.
A dining table doesn’t need to be grand to be cozy and that’s apparent in the @tinyfrenchfarmhouse. Letting the wood design features speak for themselves in this minimal approach to design is all that is needed!

4.
A dining table alfresco makes gathering in the warmer months so special. I love this outdoor area shared by @bethwebb. Doesn’t it look like it would be a great 3-season space to relax in?

5.
I’ve had this image by @foundrentalco saved for quite some time now. I love the contrast in color in the design of this space. A dining room right off the kitchen is so ideal and I really love the light wood-toned table to break up all of the white and black.

What is one thing that you can include in your dining room to make it a little cozier? Is it a striking light or even a unique vase and accompanying plant? I would love to hear on Facebook or Instagram. Don’t forget that I have a round up of dining room tables and dining room chairs in case you are hoping to purchase some new furniture to create memories around. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and every day!
