I recently received an email from one of you asking for advice on where to put her “stuff” in regards to her entryway. She was feeling defeated about creating a cozy space because of her “real-life stuff” that would fill the space. Today I wanted to offer some tips for Entryway Organization and some great dupes! Each week, I share 4 home decor dupes at varying price points in this splurge or save blog series to give you ideas for your home decor. Here [HERE] is a link to all of my past dupes.

One of the cozy tips that I replied back with is that (if you home allows) to designate a space that isn’t the entryway, like a laundry room, mudroom, or even a basement area to designate for coats and shoes. Our mudroom has a lot of peg rails that account for coats, but we like to keep only seasonal items and store non-seasonal clothing away. I love these brass hooks to use for coats and hanging items. They are aesthetically pleasing and would look great in an an entryway to serve for guests. I am almost certain they are the same, but with very different pricing. I love the look of brass. To me, it is a neutral that adds a pop of color and texture. These hooks add a layer of cozy and would look great not only in an entryway for organizing, but also in a kitchen space or even a bedroom. Shop both by clicking the images below:

Another thing I noted in my email was to pair down items to items that you must have or need on a daily basis. This makes way for the cosy decor and look that so many of you are striving for in an entryway. Storing items in baskets and market bags helps make room for cozy decor to display. I love this entryway table (both are the same, but very different pricing) and the wood/marble mixture that it has. If I were to style this in our home I would make sure to have a couple of baskets underneath for storage. Shop both by clicking the images below:

Our other non daily items we have either stored away or in the bench seating in our mudroom. Something like the hall tree above would be great to contain items while also looking great. Take a quick assessment of the area you are working worth and play around with what storage options you have. You may be able to incorporate entryway organization to hold your items while also looking really cozy. Shop both storage pieces above by clicking the images below:
