Hi friends! Well, nothing like posting my fall decor here on the farm last minute. Let’s face it, after halloween I start decorating and sharing more Christmas decor so this truly is last minute for me. BUT the important part is that I am sharing it right? Actually, to be quite honest I wasn’t feeling very inspired or motivated this fall to decorate or share a lot. I didn’t know what it was, but I feel like my mental health had a lot to do with it, but the good news is I am starting to feel motivated & inspired again for the next season ahead. Burnout? Creative block? Whatever it is, it’s normal so I wanted to share that with you in case you were feeling alone in those feelings. Even though I wasn’t feeling it, you know I had to stack some pumpkins on our farmhouse porch like I do every year & I especially had to do it because we have been working on our farmhouse porch that had been falling apart. The porch isn’t done, but we made a ton of progress & the pumpkins look good sitting on the steps now..
This year I went with white mums in some antique buckets I found in a local barn, pumpkins in blues/greens/whites, & some faux kale that I got from hobby lobby. I was going to use our kale from our garden, but some little creatures got to it before I could… faux will do!
We make it a little tradition to showcase our porch for fall. Look at the different looks over the year here… Click the year or the images to read the blog post!
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today and taking a look at my 2022 take on our farmhouse fall porch.
