My first fall table of the year! I always look forward to doing these. They are always so different. Some simple, some eclectic, & some made with purely antique and foraged items like this one. Well, minus the candles, but that’s still pretty good right? Even the chairs & the table are found antiques. That makes my heart happy. So let’s take a tour of this look together. Sorry for the overload of photos, but I hope they inspire you in some way. Be sure to save this post & pin for later inspiration…
This table is antique find & was a possible contender for our kitchen, but I’m not sure it will work so it may head to the store, but for now it sits in this dining room & it’s a fun one to style though our tiny family of 3 doesn’t eat here a lot as we have a smaller table in the kitchen. But when we finally do our big renovations we have dreams for this space.. stay tuned!
Over the table I made a fall leaf hanger using [this] from terrain & it turned out so fun! All I did was weave leaves through it & played with it for a bit to get this free & easy shape. You can also change this season to season by putting different foliage in it & more. Can’t wait to style it more! All the items on the table for the most part, the art, the taxidermy, chicken feeder/plate holder, & more are all antique & flea market finds. The candlesticks & candles are anthro finds [here] & I love that they truly look antique & blend in so well with all the pieces on the table.
This tablescape truly has so much texture! I truly believe you want at least 5 textures in a space to make it cozy. Let’s count the textures in this space: glass with amber bottles/cloches + foliage with the leaves + gathered gourds + wood with the table/chairs/dough bowl/candlesticksm+ Painted pieces in cabinets/frames/pumpkins + Wicker in the baskets/demi-johns + wall texture with beadboard/pegrail = ok, I could keep going, but you get it. Think of textures while you decorate a space! Trust me it works! Click [Here] for links to Gathered Gourds Online! I also found great resources for Tansferware you can buy online [here]. And if you are looking to add some beautiful Amber bottles to your fall decor, click [here] for links to some of my favorites I found online!
I actually was inspired by a past cozy fall look with lots of texture I did [HERE] for this look & it’s fun to be inspired by looks & making some creative changes. I hope they both inspire you in some way. I know I had a fun creative afternoon creating this. If you like to decorate & be creative with you home, I suggest turning on some music, podcast, or a book while you have some quiet time in a room creating something you love. That hour was so peaceful for me today & it recharged me before the rest of the day.
