#ad Our pets are quite literally members of our family here on white cottage farm, and we couldn’t imagine life without them. Like with every other member of our family, we want to make life cozier for them & make our home function well, which would ideally include not having their pet hair all over the place. Pet hair can get in every corner and end up on every piece of clothing and linen throughout the house, which isn’t quite cozy for the human family members here. So one of the ways we chose to combat pet hair is by getting the @Maytag Pet Pro Washer and Dryer. We are so impressed with how much pet hair comes off in the Pet Pro Filter in every wash and are quite baffled about where the hair went before these beautiful machines were here 🤔. That’s history now! We are enjoying doing the laundry more and feeling fresh and clean knowing it's helping to remove dog hair along with the rest of the farm dirt & toddler messes. If you are looking for hard-working machines to conquer pet hair like a pro, the whole family puts our stamp of approval on the Maytag Pet Pro System!

With my code, LIZ5OFF, you'll recieve 5% off on the PetPro System**. Plus free shipping on orders over $399! #MaytagPets #Maytag

*Comparing Normal cycle with Pet Pro Filter and option to cycle using traditional agitator without Pet Pro Filter and option. Results will vary based on fabric and type of pet hair. Cozy to me is my dove senses being at peace at once & one of those senses is SMELL! I love a clean home, fresh scents from plants, baby lotion, fresh painted walls, & of course a cozy candle burning. But I don’t always love a candle being lit in the house & some rooms & corners of the home could use constant freshening: diy potpourri to the rescue! The best part? You can customize the container, the herbs, the essential oils, & more to make it your very own. There is no right or wrong way to do this & there is a million ways you could make it! I will put together a whole blog post with more ideas, photos, & more but for now some herbs & filler you can start with: rosemary, lavender, cedar leaves, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, hops, rosebuds, chamomile, cornflower, hibiscus, hops… I could keep going! Some essential oils to think about: lavender, orange, rosemary, ginger, lemon, clove.. it’s fun creating your own recipes. The star of the show? That mason jar lid! See more info/ideas in my stories with links to what I used! If you try this let me know! Also, do you want some more recipes & examples? I would love to share more! 🪴🙌🏼🤍

Gosh you guys.. I can’t tell you what florals in our home does for my SOUL!! I mean.. look at the deconstructed wall behind me!! Even under construction the florals make our home so happy! I love learning what works to make our bouquets last longer in our home & I am constantly learning, changing, and trying new things to test what works best, but here are 5 of my favorites so far: 1-start with clean water in a clean vase & replace the
water often.

2. Trim all of your stems & keep trimming them after a few days to freshen them.

3. Add bleach, vodka, or aspirin to your vase for the different needs of your florals.

4. Feed your flowers with diy or store bought floral food.

5. Keep your vase in indirect light in a cool spot in your home. What works best for you?! Leave them below so we can all try new things & learn together! Want more tips? Let me know!!! I hope these florals brought you some sunshine today in your scroll! They certainly did for me today even with my bad cold & gloomy weather!! Go make your own sunshine my friends!! 🫶🏼💐🤍

THEY ARE HERE!! #ad Our @Maytag Pet Pro Washer and Dryer were delivered for the pool house, but we loved them so much that we put them in the main laundry room instead. I know, I know… we are always changing our minds here, but hear me out: the Pet Pro Option features on the Maytag Pet Pro System are PERFECT for households with pets.

The Pet Pro Filter on the Washer captures 5x more pet hair* & the Dryer has a no-heat, extended dry time to lift pet hair from clothes and capture it in the XL lint trap. If you live with pets that shed, you know how amazing that all sounds.

So, to help with everyday pet hair in the farmhouse we decided to keep them for the house & move our other @Maytag washer & dryer, that we love, to the pool house for all our pool & workshop laundry needs. Can’t wait to show you that laundry space too.

I mean, if the laundry won’t do itself like it did in this video, we might as well love our washers & dryers right? Check these out on the blog today: lizmarieblog.com & see my stories for some behind-the-scenes of them in action. ALSO, with my code, LIZ5OFF, you’ll recieve 5% off on the Pet Pro System**. Plus free shipping on orders over $399! #MaytagPets #Maytag

I felt like this sound needed to be shared here! To say I laughed out loud would be an understatement… it’s spring! Haha I kid I kid! But the greenery is out all year here to give life to our spaces, but especially in January because we never see the sun so we have to make our own. Plants often get labeled spring or summer decor, but in my humble opinion greenery can be used in every season to cozy up your spaces. Bringing the outdoors in is one of my top tips on where to start when your home isn’t feeling cozy. Some branches, a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant [or 5], & even some faux stems.. bring the outdoors in & watch your spaces [or your mantel] come to life! What do you think of this cozy fireplace & my mini mirror makeover? See my stories for the paint color I used & where I got this lovely mirror from. Do you have plants out in your home all year?! See my last reel for 5 of my favorite house plants & let me know what yours are! 🙌🏼🪴

Save this list for later 🙌🏼🪴🤍 You know I LOVE plants in our home to give it that cozy cottage vibe in every space. Where I can I want all the plants to be real as they give life to our home & brings nature indoors which always helps especially during these gloomy winter days. I’m not the best plant momma, but I try & I enjoy the simple hobby of learning about the plants, learning their needs, & learning which ones Love. I often share the various plants I love here & on the blog, but I thought I would make this a series of plants we love around the farm in case you wanted some plant inspo 🫶🏼🪴 Here are the first 5 I wanted to share today. Be sure to save & share the list for later. What is your favorite house plant? Have you tried any of these on the list? 🙌🏼🪴
