Watching Jose’s dream of becoming a dad come true has been the greatest gift for all of us. Years of infertility, losing 10 babies, a crazy journey of him watching me & my health suffer, & a whirlwind adoption journey never discouraged this man! He kept his faith & look at him now.. THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD! He’s the most patient, loving, caring, & hard working papa on the planet. Cope & I are so lucky to have him. Forever & always thankful for a birth mom that made us parents to this special soul… parenting is a gift we will never take for granted. Love this papa of ours! What do you call your dad or what do your kids call their dad.. I’m wondering if papa is up there? That’s what cope has always called Jose. *Slide to see cope’s first baseball game* Jose played baseball in highschool & while in the marine corps/college so these are very special moments for him as a papa. #copelandbeau

I heard somewhere this week that you only get 18 summers with your kids & that hit me hard. I already try to live life to the fullest with this little guy every day, but it was a good reminder. I would say his two year old summer is off to a good start! 🌈🦕🦖☀️👶🏼 Sharing this in case you needed the reminder too! Whew! Another hot & sweaty day in the garden, but at the end of the day it’s so rewarding. Especially sharing some garden chores with this helpful 2 year old. Today in my stories I shared a super easy diy trellis that we are using to train our roses around the greenhouse head on over there for that diy & be sure to check out my friends @kindredvintage @peonyandhoney @forthehome & @mustardseedbeginnings for some of their garden DIY’s today as well! To paint or to leave or to paint just the legs & leave the top raw? I love this antique table, but I knew when I got it that it wasn’t my favorite with all the damage & work it would need. I was going to bring it to the store for a cool display, but it fit so perfect here that it may just stay.. it just needs some love. Paint, bleach, partial paint?
