Our laundry room has been one big “in-progress” room in our home this past year because we started this project right when 2020 started & we all saw where that went. No one warned me how much laundry a two-year-old adds to the pile so even though it’s not done I spend a TON of time in here & I’m loving this new space of ours. After using it so much I do have some changes/additions I want to make that I will share very soon. One recent change we made a few months ago was to add a pureWash device from @Greentech_env to our washer to help cut back on laundry detergent & also help us with the mountains of laundry we have these days. I highly recommend looking these little powerful machines up when you get a chance. They are so fascinating & I never knew something like this existed. It basically puts oxygen into the water which helps cleans & keeps your washer fresh as well. I still use minimal amounts of detergent when needed, but this has helped me cut back so much & it also runs on cold water so that helps with saving money. Just one laundry addition we have added recently… I will be back soon with more! Oh, & I’ve never shared these floors without a rug. These are the ONLY original floors left in the house. Being called “momma” is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given. My journey to being a momma wasn’t easy. In fact, it was the darkest, hardest and loneliest journey that I can imagine. It was 6 years of hell. 6 years of loss, heartache, bad news, countless doctor's appointments, no answers, & the battle of not losing hope. Until one day an angel in the form of a birth mom chose me to be momma to a baby she was carrying. Without her selfless decision to want me to parent this baby, I would not be Copeland Beau’s momma & I think of that daily. I know her journey with being a birth momma has had a lot of the same feelings that I had on my journey to become a momma. Our paths and journeys to where we are today have looked so vastly different yet they have paralleled each other through dark storms even when we didn’t realize it. The journey to motherhood looks different for everyone but one thing we all have in common is that however you get there it takes strength, love, & endurance that only momma’s have so to all of the moms out there, you are strong, you are needed, & you are loved! Mommas, birth mommas, grand mommas, great grand mommas, mommas by birth, mommas by choice, all the mommas! Look back at your journey to becoming a momma or look at the journey you are in to become a momma and reflect on how amazing you are to be where you are at & I hope my journey to becoming a momma inspires you to not give up hope & shows you how strong you really are.
