Today was super gloomy here in Michigan so we deci

Today was super gloomy here in Michigan so we decided to go on a field trip to a local greenhouse for some warmth, light, & the smell of dirt & plants. It was the mood booster we all needed! We even brought home some of that mood booster back the farm with us in the form of new plants. I have many titles in life from author to blogger to shop owner to DIY-ER & beyond. But the titles that brings me the most joy is wife & mama. These boys truly are the light on a gloomy day. What do you do to cheer up on a gloomy day?! DON’T WAIT! It’s a huge thing I talk about in

DON’T WAIT! It’s a huge thing I talk about in my book, Cozy White Cottage. Don’t wait to have the budget, don’t wait to have the time, don’t wait to make your homes cozy even if it is just a temporary fix & using things you already own & that you know won’t be there forever. Make your homes cozy for your family even in the “in-between”. We have something exciting happening at the house this week [I will share later] & soon we are getting real windows installed on either side of the fireplace, but in the mean time... we made a temporary fix by hanging these antique windows with wall sconces on them [tap the photo for sources]... I didn’t want to wait to make this space cozy... so I didn’t & I’m so happy with this cozy little room for now. ONE MINOR THING: before the exciting thing this week I may take this wallpaper down. It was another “temporary fix” before the real windows get installed soon, & I’m feeling a fresh white base. Stay tuned for that. In the mean time... HAPPY SUNDAY FRIENDS!
