*swipe for more cozy* 🍂🍎🍁🍊A tiny dream came true this week, I finally got the Dutch oven I’ve always dreamed of having in my farmhouse kitchen! I grew up with my grandparents and parents cooking Sunday dinners in their Dutch ovens & they were so worn and loved after so much use that the food came out so delicious and unforgettable that I still remember it to this day. Now I have my own Dutch oven to create those same Sunday dinners with my little family and create memories & recipes of our own. I got this beautiful @lecreuset Dutch Oven from @wayfair. I also love that it’s so pretty it doubles as decor in our home & when it’s sitting on our range it invites you to come cook… or in my case today to create a simmer pot. Have you ever made a simmer pot? It’s the best way to make your house smell cozy! I interrupt our fall posts to bring you some good news & bad tonight! Bad news: Today was the last day of our pool being open. It gets closed for the season tomorrow. The good news: We are making progress on this side of the house!! Our main bedroom addition, something we have dreamed of for five years, has begun and we of course selected @lpbuildingsolutions siding.
