I know this is a little late, but it’s still the Holiday season, so give this little girl a break. To be honest I was dreading Thanksgiving this year. My husband had just arrived home safely in August from a seven month deployment when we found out he was leaving again in November for a month. I was so sad that he was going to be gone for Thanksgiving, and let’s just say I wasn’t very thankful. Also because of my job I was unable to visit my family in Michigan, this did not make things any better. In a major turn of events, I found out my best friend Rachael’s amazing family would be visiting for Thanksgiving, and I suddenly became excited for Thanksgiving once again. I absolutely love Rachael’s family. They are so welcoming & just so fun to be around, I knew this Thanksgiving would be memorable! I was right, Thanksgiving was so much fun & being with such a loving, caring family made me feel right at home. Along with Rachael’s family there were lots of friends & Marines who also did not go home for the holiday. I wanted to share a few pictures that were taken that day to give you a little insight on such a lovely Thanksgiving we all had….
A lovely Thanksgiving…
The tables were so beautiful.. well until all 21+ of us started chowing down on all the delicious food!
We really meant it when we said, “The more people, the better.”
My bestie and I.
One of our friends, Christine, is preggo!! We love her & the little love she is carrying inside of her.
Our BIG family picture. love it.
Hope you all enjoyed the sneak peek into my amazing day that I had & also that you all had a lovely Thanksgiving no matter who you were with or where you were. I have so much to be thankful for & I am thankful that I was reminded that day of how blessed I truly am!
Love always,
