I know this is a little late, but it’s still the Holiday season, so give this little girl a break. To be honest I was dreading Thanksgiving this year. My husband had just arrived home safely in August from a seven-month deployment when we found out he was leaving again in November for a month. I was so sad that he was going to be gone for Thanksgiving, and let’s just say I wasn’t very thankful. Also because of my job I was unable to visit my family in Michigan, this did not make things any better. In a major turn of events, I found out my best friend Rachael’s amazing family would be visiting for Thanksgiving, and I suddenly became excited for Thanksgiving once again. I absolutely love Rachael’s family. They are so welcoming & just so fun to be around, I knew this Thanksgiving would be memorable! I was right, Thanksgiving was so much fun & being with such a loving, caring family made me feel right at home. Along with Rachael’s family, there were lots of friends & Marines who also did not go home for the holiday. I wanted to share a few pictures that were taken that day to give you a little insight into such a lovely Thanksgiving we all had…
