1. What did you get/give for Valentine’s Day?
I was so surprised on Valentines Day morning!! I woke up at the crack of dawn for work & could barely open my eyes.. I walked into the bathroom to splash water on my face to wake up, & to my surprise a huge box was on the bathroom counter! It was my very own Singer sewing machine! Approved by Martha Stewart herself I may add. I have been wanting one for a while now, but was not expecting it on valentines day morning. Also a lovely card and a few gift cards adorned the top of the box. That evening after work I was surprised with a door bell ring when I got home & my husband was at the front door with roses ready to take me out to a romantic dinner on the water.. WOW! I felt like a princess. It truly was an amazing Valentines day.. & for once he wasn’t deployed!!
2. Do you have a vacation planned in the next couple of months or in the summer?
I am hoping to take a couple trips this summer. One will be home to Michigan to visit family & Another to Myrtle Beach with my hubby for a little getaway… Ahhh summer, can you come fast please?!?
3. What is one thing you do to pamper yourself?
Hmmmm. That’s a good one. I don’t tan, or get massages, or get my nails done a lot.. Shopping? does that count. Well my answer is, shopping. For our house of course & not grocery shopping. Eeew.
4. What sparks your interest to other people’s blogs?
I love seeing everyones creativity in their DIY projects. I get so amazed & find myself saying, “Why didn’t I think of that?!” O, and cute logos & names catch my eye as well!
5. What kind of a mood are you in today?
I am still in awe from my amazing Valentines Day yesterday.. So even though work was a little hectic today, I am super happy & ready to take on the rest of this week!! Come on weekend, get here soon!!
