Sometimes we all need to be inspired to decorate our homes including furniture, paint colors, lighting, accessories, & how to bring them all together. I wanted to start a new series here on the blog with my mood boards I create to inspire you to spruce up your spaces. Not all of the boards will be your style, but out of each board you can grab ideas, product details, groupings, & inspiration.
This “Cottage Sitting Area” board that I made has a calm & cozy cottage feeling with the neutral tones & pops of sea foam. This grouping would be great for a living room, sun room, or any area in the home where a small sitting area can be created. The glass star chandelier adds a whimsical romantic feeling to the area all while providing ample light for whatever you may use the area for. The chairs, pillows, and rug make the area a cozy and inviting space while the baskets & library cabinet contribute gorgeous storage. Of course for all of these pieces you can shop them below using the numbers, or you can find dupes for the pieces online by simply searching the internet or shopping your local stores. The great thing about a mood board is that it’s simply inspiration & doesn’t need to be copied exactly to get the same impact in your space. Also most things could be turned into a DIY projects that you can make on your own for cheap. How cool is that?
