There are many amazing things that have come from being an author & one of those things is being able to do book signings at some amazing locations over the years. I was so honored to be able to attend the Barnhouse Chicks Market at the Airport in California & wow it was an amazing experience. From the people to the antiques to the book signing & the whole trip… every part of it was a gift. Let’s start with the head of the market & the reason that we were able to be at the market and do a book signing, Lorzel. If you have ever had the honor of meeting Lorzel, you know what a true light she is. She is the most giving person and truly wants the best for everyone. She saw potential in me before I ever even did & she truly believes in me and my cozy mission & she was right… her people showed up for us at the book signing and the market truly felt like home to us. She brought us out to California & showed us the best time while we were there & even introduced us to my new favorite person who owns my new favorite clothing shop, Carly Jean Los Angelas [HERE]. More on that later this week!

The market was two days with a book signing on Friday & a panel on Saturday where we teamed up with more of our creative friends like Dreamy White Lifestyle, Carly Jean Los Angelas, My 100 Year Old Home, Adventures In Abbyland, Ashley Wearinga, & of course Jose was there on the panel as well for a male perspective. For the panel we had people online & in person come and ask questions & we got to each give our unique perspective on each question which was really fun & I learned so much so I hope others that were there also got a lot from the panel as well.

I could go on about the market, but I wanted a place where I could share some photos from the market taken by the lovely……. & of course chat a little bit about the amazing experience. I will be sharing lots of videos over on my Instagram & TikTok this week from the market and other fun things we did while in California. I’m sure many of you saw our DisneyLand visit while we were there in California as well. Cali was good to us & we can’t wait to go back to hopefully visit some more of our favorite creatives & also share more with you! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to, it means the world! xx
