Happy Friday, Friends! We have had such a magical week. From meeting so many of you readers, finding great antique treasures, and even creating some family memories visiting some special Disney Characters; my heart is so full. We needed a little break from the farm after a cold winter. While California, for the most part, was pretty chilly, it was nice to get away from snow and soak up some sun! California treated us so well and I am really looking forward to getting back there someday. Check out some of my favorite things from the week below!

1.
As mentioned above, we spent last Friday and Saturday at the Barnhouse Vintage Market out in Camarillo California! It was truly such an inspirational time. From meeting so many vendors that I have come to be friends with through the years on Instagram, to meeting so many of you readers! It was such a beautiful time. We participated in both a book signing and also a Q&A panel full of so many friends of ours to talk about starting our businesses to where we find inspiration. Stay tuned for a full blog post on the market next week!

2.
Speaking of friends, I met a new friend this week, Carly Jean of Carly Jean Los Angeles! While Carly and I spoke on the panel together at the market, we also stopped by Carly’s showroom and got to check out her incredible clothing. I felt like a kid in a candy store and fell in love with literally every piece of clothing she offers. If you can believe it, I even wore head to toe CJLA the entire weekend at the market! I highly recommend you check her out!

3.
After the weekend marketing, we drove down to Anaheim to have a couple of days of magic at Disneyland and California Adventure! For Cope, who loves all things, Disney, he had the time of his life. And for Jose and I, who have always dreamt of creating these memories, we loved seeing Disneyland through his eyes. Check out my Instagram to see more of the magic!

I love mixing brass bowls, utensils, and other useful finds in our kitchen to add a pretty material that is also super functional. While finding pure brass items is oftentimes difficult to come by, the mixture of brass and marble together is a nod to vintage and antique treasures while also being beautiful. Cake stands are one of those pieces that I like to grab a few of every time I see them because they are multi-functional and can be used not only in the kitchen, but on tablescapes as risers, bathrooms, and even on bedroom dressers. Check out a round up of brass cake stands here [HERE].

5.
Each week I gather 5 images that I’m inspired by in my weekly Scroll Stoppers blog series. This week features 5 striking sink images that I have been inspired by. Click here [HERE] to see them all!

If you are at the point where you want to add brass into your home but aren’t sure where to start, I would suggest adding it in through small home decor items to accent your other decor. I love adding taper brass candlesticks to our cozy home decor. While my first choice is adding vintage and/or antique brass, there are a lot of antique-inspired taper brass candlesticks offered as well that are great as well! Check out a round up of brass candle holders here [HERE].

7.
I’m back with another splurge or save blog post! This time it’s all about neutral home decor. One goal of mine in 2022 is to continue offering and sharing cozy items at all price points. That is why I love writing these splurge or save posts because it gives me a chance to search around the internet for the best prices for you! Check out this week’s dupes here [HERE].

Each Friday I like to round up some of my favorite current finds from around the internet. Whether it be clothing, plants, or home decor- I like to share some cozy items with you in hopes that it inspires you or just maybe it is the missing piece to what you were looking for.
