Happy Very-Very Special Friday and Welcome to Favorite things Friday where we do a recap of the week & I share my Friday Finds. Each week looks very different, but I hope it always inspires you for the weekend ahead in some way & helps you with your decorating & cozy needs. Here is a look at this week in case you missed it… But before we dive into some very cozy blog post, let me share why this week is so very (very) special! We are marking our third family birthday– that’s right this coming weekend our little family, three years ago went to the courthouse to “legally” make us a family, our final step in a very long journey to parenthood. Before we depart this weekend for some much needed one-on-one family time, we wanted to recap our posts and share some Friday finds!
Happy Friday from my free people sweater that I love so much that happens to be at Nordstrom Rack currently. If you don’t shop there, they have name brand items for a better price & I love to look there for free people & Madewell items once in a while along with home decor & items for Jose & Cope too. You can get the link for this sweater [HERE].
Lastly, we are getting everyone ready for some fun and cozy DIY’s this fall! Starting off with this DIY fall pumpkin vase made from a faux pumpkin! So easy and I’ve already been tagged on socials with some people jumping into the Fall DIY’s. Such a fun and affordable project that can be used anywhere as decor or as a centerpiece!
We have had a frame TV for three years now and still love it just as much as day 1. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, Samsung makes a TV that looks just like art when it’s not on. We have a lot of fun adding it into our spaces with seasonal art. Check out our Cozy Halloween Art blog post [here] to see a few digital art prints we’ll be using this year.
This emphasis pumpkins here on the farm! Love them or hate them these Pottery Barn Clay Pumpkins are cute! They are completely terracotta and someone mentioned to me to spin them around during hosting events if you don’t want the spooky vibes showing. These are going to be forever seasonal pieces and I cannot wait to showcase them throughout the holiday.
This week I shared this BEAUTIFUL pear art that looks vintage. Guess what? It’s a Target find! I know, I was impressed too. I love finding new items that look antique especially with a good price tag to share with you guys. This get’s the white cottage farm approval! You can find this artwork [HERE].
We have some lovely little dupe fall stems that look very close to my favorite fall stems. The original fall stems have been discontinued and I have found these cuties, the only thing is they come a lot more shinny than the originals. I shared a quick DIY how to make them look more realistic. Check out How to Make Stems look More Realistic [Here]!
Behind the scenes we have been working SO HARD on our upcoming Found Cottage Mercantile Market that we host every year on the friday & Saturday of Labor Day weekend in Holland, Michigan. It is a highly curated market with vendors from around the country. We can’t wait for the market & I hope to see a lot of you there as well! You can get info & tickets [HERE].
Scroll stoppers is so inspiring to me & hopefully to you as well. Each week I gather people & images that have inspired me & share them with you. This week I put together 5 Cozy Cottage Lighting Scroll Stoppers to inspire your next refresh or remodel!
Now of course my Friday Finds. Not going to lie, I included a chair I could only ever dream of with that price tag, BUT that’s kind the point sometimes of what I share here. I’m not saying it’s affordable when I share everything & I’m not saying it’s obtainable to everyone, I am saying that it’s inspiring. We don’t need to buy all the things, some things we can just be inspired by while we wait for similar things or something else that inspires us & fits in our budgets & spaces. That little console table is SO THIN & I thought it was unique for those that don’t have a large entryway. It also comes in three colors. These pumpkins are all on sale & look so realistic! I think I may grab a few of those. The light, pillow, & artwork are such a great way to add a vintage cozy vibe to a space with new items that look old and found.
