THEY ARE HERE!! #ad Our @Maytag Pet Pro Washer and Dryer were delivered for the pool house, but we loved them so much that we put them in the main laundry room instead. I know, I know… we are always changing our minds here, but hear me out: the Pet Pro Option features on the Maytag Pet Pro System are PERFECT for households with pets.

The Pet Pro Filter on the Washer captures 5x more pet hair* & the Dryer has a no-heat, extended dry time to lift pet hair from clothes and capture it in the XL lint trap. If you live with pets that shed, you know how amazing that all sounds.

So, to help with everyday pet hair in the farmhouse we decided to keep them for the house & move our other @Maytag washer & dryer, that we love, to the pool house for all our pool & workshop laundry needs. Can’t wait to show you that laundry space too.

I mean, if the laundry won’t do itself like it did in this video, we might as well love our washers & dryers right? Check these out on the blog today: lizmarieblog.com & see my stories for some behind-the-scenes of them in action. ALSO, with my code, LIZ5OFF, you’ll recieve 5% off on the Pet Pro System**. Plus free shipping on orders over $399! #MaytagPets #Maytag

*Comparing Normal cycle with Pet Pro Filter and option to cycle using traditional agitator without Pet Pro Filter and option. Results will vary based on fabric and type of pet hair
Disclaimer: **”Ends February 28th 2023 at 11:59PM EST. Excludes ground shipped products. Discount taken off regular price excluding taxes, delivery, install/uninstall and haul-away. Only valid for new orders on maytag.com. Major appliances limited to washers and dryers. While supplies last.”

I felt like this sound needed to be shared here! To say I laughed out loud would be an understatement… it’s spring! Haha I kid I kid! But the greenery is out all year here to give life to our spaces, but especially in January because we never see the sun so we have to make our own. Plants often get labeled spring or summer decor, but in my humble opinion greenery can be used in every season to cozy up your spaces. Bringing the outdoors in is one of my top tips on where to start when your home isn’t feeling cozy. Some branches, a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant [or 5], & even some faux stems.. bring the outdoors in & watch your spaces [or your mantel] come to life! What do you think of this cozy fireplace & my mini mirror makeover? See my stories for the paint color I used & where I got this lovely mirror from. Do you have plants out in your home all year?! See my last reel for 5 of my favorite house plants & let me know what yours are! 🙌🏼🪴

Save this list for later 🙌🏼🪴🤍 You know I LOVE plants in our home to give it that cozy cottage vibe in every space. Where I can I want all the plants to be real as they give life to our home & brings nature indoors which always helps especially during these gloomy winter days. I’m not the best plant momma, but I try & I enjoy the simple hobby of learning about the plants, learning their needs, & learning which ones Love. I often share the various plants I love here & on the blog, but I thought I would make this a series of plants we love around the farm in case you wanted some plant inspo 🫶🏼🪴 Here are the first 5 I wanted to share today. Be sure to save & share the list for later. What is your favorite house plant? Have you tried any of these on the list? 🙌🏼🪴

Another idea on how to kick the winter blues? Create a new cozy corner. Grab a chair, relocate a lamp, add some art… whatever cozy is to you! A reading corner, a place to drink your morning coffee, a refreshing new devotional corner, a new office space, a place to watch your phone & unwind.. whatever your cozy corner needs [& wants are] just the lamp being on alone makes the winter blues tolerable with a cozy glow. It was a gloomy day today so quickly putting this corner together was a fun creative moment. Do you make new cozy corners in the winter? What does your perfect cozy corner consist of? Let me know! #whitecottagefarm #cozywhitecottage #cozycottagefarmhouse ps. Music on photos? I had to try it because it’s new 🫣 pss.I hid the chord for the photo.. can you tell? When I have more time I’ll hide it for good 🙌🏼👏🏼🤍 [curtains & more linked in my stories & the link in my profile]

It’s going to be a good year friends!!! We have been dreaming & scheming about these big projects now for 7 years. In the in-between we have done little things along the way to make it functional & cozy for us as our seasons of life changed, but now it’s time for phase two that will get us closer to our dream home. This was always in the back of our head as we made decisions so things like cabinets, appliances, & material for the most part is going to be re-used & re-purposed in other rooms or new areas of the farm like the pool house kitchen & more. If you have missed my stories on this project so far.. check out my highlights! The kitchen Reno highlight has a lot more info in it! This farmhouse was gutted & re-done in the 1980’s and that’s when they put in this rock wall, carpet in parts of the kitchen & in every other room including bathrooms, & took out most of the historic bits that we hope to add back in. The house was IMMACULATE & so well kept & we are so thankful to get the chance to make it our own for our family after the house being in the same family prior to us for over 100 years. In the “in-between” we put down some affordable boards & painted them on the floors, painted the walls & stairs, & did many fun changes that were prepping for the big ones we are about to make. Jose and I love projects & getting our hands dirty so this will be a new part of our journey that’s sure to be full of memories, lessons learned, & lots of creativity which is something we have felt lacking lately. Can’t wait to share this journey with all of you & also share what’s going in this big hole in the wall that we cleared out! You are going to love it!! Hit the 🤍🫶🏼🤍 if you are excited to follow along here!

Making our own sunshine here on the farm all winter long. Quite literally in these photos thanks to the iphone camera and brightening edits because it’s been dark as night all day long here this week. Thanks for being part of that daily in my posts, stories, & on the blog. Thankful for all of you & I pray that we can be a ray of sun daily for you & share ideas on how you can make your own sunshine when you need it. 🪴☀️🫶🏼 ps. Have you started adding real or faux plants to your spaces yet? You can see these faux paper whites in my stories today!
