After so much loss and years of longing to be a parent, the beauty of motherhood is not lost on me. God is so good & I see it daily when I look into Cope’s eyes. His promises are infinite & His gifts are endless. Motherhood is my favorite gift. 👶🏼🌈🪴Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommas out there from step moms to birth moms to adoptive moms to biological moms to those who have lost moms & all the mommas in between! Today was the perfect reminder that even on the gloomiest days we can make our own sunshine if we try hard enough. See my stories for how we did just that! 🌷☀️🌈 As we approach Mother’s Day this weekend I was reminded as we walked through the tulip fields today just how lucky I am to be this little guys mom. I remember coming here when he was just two months old and sitting among the tulips still in shock that I was a mom. The journey to motherhood for me was filled with storms & gloomy days, but I was finally holding my sunshine & all of those storms made sense in that moment. ☀️👶🏼🌈 I will never ever take the blessing of motherhood for granted & I’m so thankful for days like today that remind me just what a true gift it is. If you had to describe motherhood in one or two words what would it be? #copelandbeau 🌷👶🏼🌈☀️

The table shuffle finally paid off! I’m on a mission this month to make this room into something useful & beautiful before an exciting shoot coming up & we made a lot of progress today! Table ✔️ light ✔️ paint ✔️ next up: chairs, rug, & a few more details to make this a table seating area in the library all while keeping it a hallway of sorts. This room has always given me trouble & I’ve loved playing around with it, but I think we are on to something here. Do you see my vision?! See more of this light & other sources in my stories today! Life has been pretty crazy these past few months here on @whitecottagefarm, but I’m forever grateful for new opportunities & the chance to do life with these two. Well, three if you count boots 😆🐑🤪 but really, just thankful tonight & wanted to leave this here to be reminded of this memory next year when it pops up. Someone snapped this on their phone quickly when we were filming for @lpbuildingsolutions last week & it made me smile to see our little fam on the steps of our farmhouse... both dreams come true. A lot of prayer, a lot of hard work, and many years of dreaming brought our little family here to these chippy old steps & I’m overwhelmed with gratitude tonight for all of it imperfections and all! #whitecottagefarm #copelandBeau
