We have been making some changes in the front guest bedroom! While we are updating the guest bathroom {here}, & the middle guest bedroom {here}, we decided to change things up in the front guest bedroom too. Why not right? Just to refresh your memory, this is how the front guest bedroom was looking a few weeks ago…
You can see more of what the front guest bedroom looked like {here}. I loved the room like this. It was bright & cheerful & seemed to always put me in a good mood. While we are getting ready to sell the house we wanted to change a few things around & change the decor a tiny bit to make it more neutral & allow us to sell some things we won’t be needing in the next house. Starting with the curtains. The curtains we used in the room before, as you can see in the picture above, were simply just drop cloths. They worked for a while, but I wanted something more structured & a little heavier in this room. Then I found wallpaperdirect.com when I was searching for curtains for our master bedroom. I wrote a post about that {here}.
If you don’t remember the post about the master bedroom curtain ideas, the photo above shows my four choices. I ended up ordering number 2, Nancy Linen. I ordered them insulated, with plain white insulated lining & bronze grommets. When I got them in the mail I seriously loved them more than I did online. They are the nicest curtains I have ever touched & the quality is through the roof. I can’t stop touching them! It’s when I got them in the mail that I decided that they should go in the front guest bedroom & not the master bedroom. The look just wasn’t right for our master bedroom & I loved the fact that the front guest bedroom would have insulated curtains since it’s the coldest room in the house. Of course I’m not showing the whole space today, so here is a little sneak peek at the curtains…
What do you think of the curtain choice? I am in love with them so far, & I will be back with an update on the full curtain review & the full view of them very soon. The Front guest bedroom makeover is well on it’s way & I’m excited to show you the rest of the changes. In the mean time find me on Instagram & Facebook for updates. I hope you are all having a great week!
Yay didnt realize this was an old post. So sorry but cant help to say that I really like those curtains. The pattern complement the colors in the room adding that rustic yet feminine touch to it, at least for me. I am looking for some nice patterns for my next window treatments project and my search led me to your blog. Do you have any updated post about your current fave curtains that I can check? Off to read about the curtains in your master bedroom.
Thanks,
Amber
