So remember the last update on our bedroom “make-under” here. & here? Well, I promise you there hasn’t been anything much to update on since then. I did get some new bedding & pillows, but I will post more on that later. One pretty exciting update is that I finally bought the dresser I had my eye on for over a year at a local antique shop. I never had space for it in our home so I refrained from buying it, but recently I sold the green dresser from our old master bedroom {here} so it was all mine. I think I got it for a steal { $100} Vintage, has all it’s wheels, perfect hardware, the drawers slide in & out nicely, but it still needs a little surface work & a little tlc. Not bad! This is the dresser today before I have done any work to it. What do you think?
The dresser is so petit & I was a little worried about the small scale in our bedroom, but I love how cute & feminine this piece is. I’m thinking about maybe adding a few painting details to it? Once I clean it up I will make the call from there. I just love this little dresser so much. O, & there’s buck! Remember him from our front guest bedroom {here} He has a new home in our master bedroom now. I kind of love him too.
Mr. LMB & I love this little antique shop in our town & we find the best treasures, like this dresser, at this little store. This is a photo I posted on Instagram as we were going up the stairs to pick up our little dresser. Can you see the fear in my eyes wondering how we were going to carry it down two flights of stairs? haha look harder 😉 What do you think of the new dresser?
