Wow! I can’t believe I have never blogged the kitchen before. Actually I can. Upon “unofficially” putting our house up for sale last week I noticed that I had no photos of our kitchen. The reason? Well, we have never really done any work in the kitchen. For the past year we have known we were going to move out of the house so we have not made many changes to this space. We did add the beadboard backsplash a while back & painted the space from gray to cream, but that is about it. I will blog a few before & afters in a separate post to show the changes since we have lived in this house. I woke up the other morning inspired to take some quick photos of the kitchen just the way it was. No changes, no staging, just the way I woke up with the morning sun coming in the window & please excuse the fact that you can’t see the pendant over the sink because of all the brightness, I will show that to you later too. Just picture a vintage school house light there & you won’t be missing anything. Have it pictured? Well, here we go on the long awaited kitchen tour…
The cabinets & the granite were both original to when we built the house & so is the flush mount light & the appliances. The DIY basket pendants are a DIY that you can see {here}. The mason jar kitchen organizer can be found {here}. The milk jug artwork is a DIY from a while back that I will be blogging soon. That sign above the sink? Yah, I made that & never blogged it. Tutorial coming soon. What do you think of the space? I plan on making a few changes before we sell the house & I will update you on that soon. Have any questions or comments? I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment below, find me on Facebook, or chat with me on Instagram. To see more of our North Carolina home go {here}.
