It’s been a long few months of staging our little house which has been actually not too crazy & exciting because let’s face it, when you are staging, you are neutralizing. One of the rooms we really had to neutralize was our master bedroom. Our master bedroom before was a bold rustic cottage vibe with a large wooden wall headboard as the main focal point. While neutralizing the room I also changed out some of the old accessories like the lamps. I wanted something large & chunky to replace the old metal reading lamps that were on the nightstands. Everything I found online, like this high end lamp, was way over my lamp budget, so I searched good old Target & found the same look I was going for for a lot less!
Not a coincidence that our last master bedroom lamps were also from Target. But when we were neutralizing the room I just felt like these lamps were too small & with the room being so neutral & bare now I wanted more of large statement lamp. I also felt like the new lamps from Target were pretty neutral and classic & would go in our next two houses {Rental & Michigan house}. That’s my thought at least. What do you think?
I think the higher end lamp & the target lamp look pretty similar & if you liked the studs that are on the higher end lamp you could even DIY the Target lamp & add your own studs. Super easy! & if your lamp budget is my lamp budget, I’m pretty sure I know what option you would choose 😉 Also, at Target when you buy the lamp base, you pick your own lamp shade as well so you could go with whatever pattern, texture, color, & size you like. I chose a solid linen lamp shade for this room to stay neutral of course.
I will be back later with the final master bedroom tour as part of our final “goodbye tour” of our North Carolina home. You can see the beginning of the “goodbye tour” {here}. I’ll also be back with posts on how we neutralized our home & how we sold our home so fast as well. What do you think of the new lamps? Have you seen these at Target? Which lamp do you like better their lamp or my lamp? Let me know in the comments below, find me on Facebook, or chat with me on Instagram! xx

Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I
stumbleupon every day. It will always be helpful to read articles from other authors and practice something from their websites.
Where are the rabbit mugs from?
Thanks!!
