Since we have moved into our farmhouse a few months ago, one of my favorite parts of the house has been the gazebo that is part of our front porch. We honestly didn’t utilize it at all since June when we moved in. Well, until now. I knew I wanted to decorate an outdoor space so we are so excited to share our Fall Porch look.
Sitting out in this gazebo now is my all time favorite thing to do. I want to host a dinners here with our family and friends. I was able to have my grandma and mom over for dinner the other night & I’ve had coffee here more times than I can count since putting this table here. It’s amazing how peaceful it is in this gazebo with that view. On the table I placed a blanket I got from Joss & Main [here] for a tablecloth. I love the pom detail on it & had sadly just threw away a pom throw that I had that was super old & disheveled so it was so nice to find another one… so I got two. I piled the throw with some of my favorite pumpkin finds from our local farm stand & two candle holders I got from the clearance section at Hobby Lobby years ago. I moved this old dresser into our gazebo & put one of my favorite fall paintings on it from my good friend Holly [here] & some pumpkins & kale from that farm stand. The two stands on the sides of the dresser are my new favorite item on our porch & I can’t wait to play with them with all of our seasonal decor. I found them at Joss & Main [here]. I saw them online & I was so intrigued by them that I had to order them & see them in person. I was so impressed with the shabby finish on the stands & would totally recommend them. In my opinion they look like authentic vintage plant stands & that’s a win in my book. I filled the stands with pumpkins & kale of course. & the star of the show? That rug! You can find it [here]. I wanted a round rug in the round gazebo to really accent the gazebos shape & this one was perfect. The rug is the 8ft round rug & again, the quality is amazing & I want to order one for in you home, but this is an outdoor rug which is amazing.
The porch may be my favorite place in this farmhouse of ours. I’ve just always dreamed of having a big farmhouse porch, & here we are. God is so good all the time. I love that we also waited to decorate this gazebo on our porch until fall as well because fall decor just makes everything perfect. I hope you guys love this part of our fall porch. All I can say is Gorgeius! Thanks for sharing the info on where you bought everything. Your porch sure is beautiful and so inviting! I want to do this with mine but I worry about bugs and rain , any advice on that? Do you leave everything out every day or put things away when it rains.? Thank you so much 😉
Really beautiful Liz Marie, it looks like a dream come true!
Simply gorgeous. I love your style.
Stunning! I imagine sitting with a warm cider in my hands chatting with my FAVORITE designer on an Indian summer afternoon! I LOVE gazebos and where yours is on the Farmhouse it exactly what I had always envisioned! Besides the pumpkins and kale my favorite part are the stands from Joss & Main ! You are spot on about the look and vibe…very authentic. I think I may need one…hummm where to put it???
Good morning!
It seems as though I am not the only one that makes decisions based on practicality and not simple beauty; for I was wondering the exact same thing when it comes to the pouring rain and material protection (…especially the painting).
Liz Marie, could you expound on the weatherproofing of your outdoor décor? As longevity seems to be at the core of Farm Vintage decorating.
Thank you for the pointers and let me resound Gabriela’s comment of your porch being “Gorgeous”.
Looks so cozy! The perfect place for coffee in the morning.. wine in the evening… relaxing… watching the sky change colors… basically, I could live in that gazebo! 🙂 And I have to know about that pillow!!! The Apples in WA state pillow on the chair. Where did you find that??? I live in Washington, and my grandparents have an organic apple orchard (in Washington). I would love to get a couple of those pillows!!
Gorgeous Liz! What a special place. I would never want to leave.
Oh my, sorry about the spelling error : ) Gorgeous!!
So pretty Liz Marie!! Your porch is gorgeous!
As usual, you did an amazing job! I love how you style and use so many different pieces. I am in love with that rug, I do not have anywhere I could use it, but I want to buy it! It is gorgeous! You will have so much fun in this gazebo in years to come, I cannot wait to see what else you do!
