You guys already know that moving to our little farm 7 months ago was a dream come true for us. We have loved every moment of being here through the ups and downs we have already had. Well, I have to confess that Christmas here at White Cottage Farm has made me fall in love with this place even more. The lovely Tifani from Tifani Lyn Photography came to the farm last week to capture Christmas here at the farm with Jose & I & I wanted to share the photos that she took for us that I will treasure forever. Our first Christmas here has been magical and even 7 months later, this still doesn’t feel like real life. Today I’m sharing part one of the photos that took Tifani took, & I will share more later this week with some deep thoughts that I hope to share with you about our fertility & the holidays. There were over 100 photos that she took so I figured I should break them up a little & not share all of them because you guys don’t like our faces that much I don’t think…
When she came over in the morning we started with some coffee and chit chat because Jose and I love to talk [sometimes too much] & then we made our way outside to enjoy the pretty snow. Seriously we couldn’t have picked a more gorgeous [& cold] day to do photos. Snow flakes were falling & the sun kept peaking out of the clouds.. it was truly magical. We wandered out to the barn & to Jose’s daily driver, the wagoneer which we often refer to as “The Beast”. We tied a tree to the top & we kept it there all season which brought us tons of cheer & hopefully other drivers too. We have spotted lots of people taking photos of it out in public which has been really fun for us to see. & of course the barn shines in all the snow too with it’s chippy red paint. Who knows if that barn will always be red, but I love it now & I’m so glad we were able to capture it during this holiday season.
Seriously White Cottage Farm is my favorite at Christmas & I hope these photos gave you a little glimpse into our experience with it so far. Thankful for this farm, thankful for my little family, & thankful that we can get moments like this captured in time forever. This is my yearly PSA telling you to go get family photos taken no matter where you are at in life. Don’t wait for the “perfect time” life is messy, we can always find a flaw with ourselves, & if you wait until all is right in your eyes you will let time pass without getting them. Thank you guys for stopping by the blog today & thank you for supporting us on this farm journey we started, supporting our fixer upper farmhouse dream, & for sticking with us along the way through it all. We are forever grateful! Be sure to follow on Instagram & Facebook for behind the scenes… xx
I gathered some items that we wore in the post in case you were interested in affiliate links below [the lipstick listed below I wore in ‘Patina’]:

Beautiful! Can’t wait to see more!
You two are adorable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. I have to confess I have some serious barn envy whenever I see your pictures. ?
Merry Christmas and many blessing in the New Year!
The pics are so gorgeous, and girl you got me with that neutral, rustic decor!! I adore your every move in that gorgeous place…
Oh boy, made me cry. I have tried many times to leave a comment. A thank you. An encouragement. I’m trying again. Because what a great PSA. I just got married at age 42. I wanted to get married straight out of high school, and have at least half a dozen kids, both via birth and adoption. For 25 long years, I wondered where my family was. At 45, I still long to be a mother. And I feel incomplete without children. So much so, that I don’t take photos with my love. But this inspires me. You are a beautiful family. Of course, I hope with you. But today, this is what our respective families look like. Love.
Hey Liz! I tried to click on the link you left for ‘shopping the post’ because I love that white sweater of yours…but it wasn’t working. would you mind sharing where you found it? Thank you and happy holidays!
Absolutely adorable!
