If you guys missed it on social media a couple of days ago, White Cottage Farm is growing and our Ewe Baby had a little lamb! Unlike Grace, we knew that Baby was pregnant & the wait seemed like it was so long, but one night at midnight we went down to the barn & there he was! A tiny little black lamb that was about half the size of Grace’s lamb….
Isn’t he so sweet?! The birth went smooth & both the momma & the lamb are doing great. The funny story is that since Baby is a solid gold color I assumed she would have a little gold lamb. & since I’ve only ever had girl lambs, I assumed it would be a girl. So we were going to name her Goldie. But much to our surprise he came out solid black and handsome as ever. So his name? Well, Potter of course! So now we have Beatrix & Potter… get it? You guys know that I’m obsessed with Beatrix Potter & all things with her… so this is one of my little tributes to her here on the farm. I can’t even take the credit for thinking of it… I asked you guys on Instagram & so many of you voted for that name. So here you have him, Little Mr. Potter. You will be seeing him a lot in our Instagram stories & of course I will keep you updated on him as always.
I want to say thank you guys so much for following along with our farm journey & for always cheering us on through everything… you motivate us so much & it’s so much fun sharing it all with you guys. Thank you all!! Be sure to follow me over on Instagram & Facebook for more behind the scenes. xx

You make me want to get a baby lamb. !! Love you.
Potter couldn’t be cuter, and his name is perfect. Look forward to watching him grow and change as he melts the hearts of all your followers ???
Wow ! He is smaller and so cute ! He is the new “black” sheep of the family and I have no trouble passing on my title to the little guy! Glad that Mama and baby are doing well….and I think we need to see a new photo of Winnie. She must be getting big? Have you had a chance to introduce her to the lambs? More photos please ! Love you!
Such a perfect name! When he gets older, he’ll be Wooley Potter instead of Harry! ??
Love the name! I enjoy watching your fur babies growing and playing on the farm.
Another named animal while your black male sheep remain nameless. Really sad. Potter is precious though. I wonder why he’s so small?!
I LOVE his name and so fitting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures with us and your sweet family. It makes my whole day to see your littles.
His nickname can be Potts! So darling. Baby and Grace are perfect Mamas. Keep the happy stories of your growing family coming.
