Without getting to sentimental and cry-ee on here, this is a happy post of reflection.
Daily I am in aw of Him and all that He has provided for Jose and I. Whether it be the happy accomplishments or tough news along our fertility journey, we acknowledge and welcome all the answers. We know that everything is part of His good plan. It’s just shocking to me every time we have a miscarriage God places something huge in our life right after & I always know it’s His hand on us telling us this is where He wants us in this moment.
This month we cannot help but pause and be so grateful for all the love and support from all those the read our story on the blog or see our little snapshots of our farm life on Instagram. So as you read this, know that Jose and I truly are humbled and thankful to share and that people out there follow our story… if wasn’t for those of you out there accomplishments like this would not be possible.
If you remember, last year we had Better Homes and Gardens at our house to do a photo shoot for next year’s fall issue. Well! Next year is here and the fall is knocking on the door. We were so surprised to find that we were not only in one magazine this year, but six. For me, these are huge milestones in my journey as an interior designer and blogger, and I am humbled beyond belief. Our two main magazines are Country Home & Better Homes and Gardens Fall Decorating magazines. We actually made the cover of Country Home this month which just blows my mind in every single way…
I can remember being at one of the most inspirational person in my life, my grandmother, whom I believe I received my style and true love for decorating from. I could remember being at hour perfectly placed and styled home, flipping through issue of BHG, looking at all the pretty homes and spaces. To fast forward to today, and be in that magazine sitting on her coffee table, it brings so many tears of happiness, joy, and a big ole cup of pride.
The Fall Decorating issues is our main spread, that shares a few spaces in our home… All completely looking different today, of course. Country Home, a sister to BHG, we were so honored to be the cover of. On top of that, being featured in a magazine with an blogging idol of mine and most in Home Decor and Interior design, Miss Mustard Seed. I have met and known her for sometime, and still fan girl every time we get together, but sharing an issue is just as much of an honor to me and being in the magazine all together.
Cottage White magazine, was all so kind to feature a few spaces in our home from earlier in the year. First off, Cottage White Magazine? I think I need more of that in my life, practically screams LMB, haha. We were so happy to share locally, with our small little township, of a mention of the town we live in on Country Living. The local love and support have been a huge day maker for me over the years, with people telling us inspiring stories of hope, of walking way with tears of people we have helped along a tough path.
Lastly, we are “indirectly” in these two magazines due to an amazing partnership we have had for many years with Barn Light Electric. They have adds in a few magazines, and these two were the ones that were brought to our attention by a few of you out there. Garden and Guns, and Coastal Living. Barn Light Electric, worked with us on our new porch lighting, last year, and in doing so we were able to be featured as on of their print advertisements. It is so awesome to see what great things come from honest and humbled partnerships.
Quick funny story. Most of us know Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living without a shadow of a doubt. Some new of Cottage White. Gardens and Gun, wasn’t on my radar until this ad we were in. And while Jose and I truly enjoyed the magazine after picking up this issue, my midwest-patriot of a Dad was over the moon proud that I made it in Gardens and Gun… Dad your Welcome! No, but really… thank you to you guys who stop by the blog daily, who comment on my instagram, who chat with me about things that we have in common, who pray for us, who give us advice on all our journeys, who hug us when we meet in person, & just who cheer us on through it all… without you I wouldn’t share here on the blog or Instagram because the reason I share is to hopefully inspire others, to connect with like minded people, & to just share my passions, struggles, & life with you guys daily. Thank you for being here… I can’t say this enough & thank you again for all the love & support you show. Ok, I said I wouldn’t get cry-ee, but this makes me emotional because I can never say it enough… thank you. Let me know if you pick up a copy of any of the magazines… I would love to hear what you think! Love you guys!! xx
So wonderful. I like your pictures. Congratulations.
Greetings from Elisabeth

Congratulations! All your hard work is paying off and I am happy for you.
Wow, what an accomplishment to be in all of those magazines Liz, so amazing! That is exactly what our Lord is, truely AMAZING! We always make plans for our lives, what we all really need to do is to ‘let go and let God’. His plan, timing and purpose makes up His perfect will for us with all the thrills and bumps along the way. Such a joy to see how He is blessing you and Jose through all of your challenges.Keep Him and each other first and everything will be the way it is intended to be. Just know that YOU are an inspiration to so many, not just in your home but YOU as a woman. Wish I could know you as a friend in person because I think we would have a blast, but I will settle for being a friend through this blog. Continued prayers and support for you and Jose.?

Wow Liz..I am blown away on this whole thing!!! Sooooo cool and soooo proud of you and “Joe”!! Would love to see your farm and meet “Grace” in person.
So well deserved! You inspire every day with your vision and keeping the Faith even in dark times. You are on the journey he means you and Jose to be on. My favorite quote is:
“Roads were made for journeys not destinations ” Confucius
Enjoy the journey he has you on.
And here I thought country home stopped printing new articles years ago! Must have been a bad rumor huh?
Congrats Liz! I picked up a copy of the Country Home issue when it first came out because I was standing in line at the grocery store, saw it, and said “OMG that’s Liz’s porch!” LOL So awesome that chose you for the cover. You and Jose deserve it, and I know that there will be much more to come for y’all. Praying for you!

Jumping up and down for JOY for you and Jose! I’m rushing out to buy a Country Home asap and I already have the Country Living just sitting here waiting for me to read!!! Little did I know you are in it!!!!!!!! As far as giving back to us…. girl you do everyday! I mean, look at all the trends you start and the inspiration is beyond beyond! I look forward to opening up your blog everyday and seeing your stories and posts on Instagram! I have almost gone all neutral in my home, ok, well really not because I can’t afford to change everything all at once, but I’m inching my way and you are one of those amazing people who inspire me! Thank You Liz Marie!!!!!!
Congratulations. Your passion is reflected in the photos and your story.
How exciting!!! Can’t wait to purchase at least a couple of the magazines.
This is so amazing and you guys deserve this honor. I, like sooo many others, are so inspired by your faith and the path you have taken. Your beauty just flows to all you touch. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you, love you.
Your home is absolutely stunning!! Everything you do evokes a cozy, beautiful and welcoming space!!! This is so well deserved, congrats!!!!!!
Wow! Congratulations to you both!
Liz, I love your style and your accomplishments. You and Jose should be proud of all you do, not just the magazine shoots. Now, I hesitate to say this, but the English teacher in me is about to come out. Do you proof read your posts? I know I would want someone to correct my writing if I was a professional blogger, so I hope you don’t take offense. I guess you could equate this to a poorly placed table and you want to offer a better set up. This in no way should distract from your awesome talent.
So happy for you guys! You totally deserve it! I can’t wait to pick up those magazines!!
This is so wonderful! I picked up the Country Home magazine and immediately knew it was your porch! Obsessed!! You are such an inspiring woman. I hope to be like you when I grow up haha!! Living the dream lady! Well wishes & much love from NJ!❤️

Awesome!! Congrats to you both! This is so exciting, you so deserve the acknowledgement! I can’t wait to find these issues.
Congratulations isn’t enough, but what a blessing as you said!! God is good. I was looking for pictures of that fall decor because I remembered when you mentioned it on your blog. I Continue to pray for you.
What a talent you have!!!’
Funny I had a hard time following some of the content as well on this one. Liz admittedly doesn’t proofread her blog posts before posting which must drive a lot of good English teachers mad! Haha We’ll just say it adds to her charm?
Congratulations!!! You are so deserving of this!
