I can’t help it… I just keep slowly bringing in those hints of spring into our farmhouse & I’m not sorry. I’m not complaining at all, because I love love love the cozy winter days, but sometimes we all need that pick-me-up that only spring can give us. So, with the help of some houseplants & a few other items I created a spring vignette on an antique dresser of mine. Per usual I played around a lot with it so I am sharing a few ways I styled it as I was playing with it this afternoon to hopefully inspire you with some different looks to try in your own spaces…

First up I hung our oversized black clock from Magnolia up above the dresser. This clock is no longer available, but a large clock adds a dramatic effect and makes the dresser area become a major focal point. The plants are all real & from our shop…but you can visit your local greenhouse boutique and find the plants that you love for your home.

The second look is a subtle piece of art hanging above the dresser. This is a sign I got from Brush & Timber who sells in our shop, The Found Cottage. It’s subtle & really allows our pretty houseplants to shine.

For the third look I used an antique frame & a vintage metal number that I picked up at The Old House Vintage Market from Brooklyn Inspired. You know my love for antiques so this little vignette is my favorite. I used more antiques like a tray and some vintage plates for plant saucers as well for this look.

I blogged last week on how this time of year I’ve been bringing in a lot of houseplants & slowly transitioning into spring all while embracing some cozy elements of winter. I hope that these posts have been inspiring you for the spring season ahead & that this post gave you a few ideas on how to decorate around a dresser, tv stand, buffet, & so much more. THANK YOU so much for stopping by the blog today & every single day to see what we are up to! xx
I love all of them, but the third one is my favorite. Very simple and pretty. Giving me the decorating fever…rearrange things! ?

Love the 1st& 3rd! Something about a the big piece of art ties it in so well!! Love… love your style! I wanted to get your advice on something I want to paint.
Hey Liz! I have a question.. would I be able to paint fabric with fusion paint? I wanted to know have you experienced using it on fabric & what’s your take? I’m trying to stay on a budget & wanting to avoid reupholstering replica of a ( Queen Ann) sofá. I wanted to ask you before I spend the money on paint. Your advice would be so appreciated it. Thanks?
Beautiful! Where did you buy the oversized black clock?
