THEY ARE BACK!! Lemons are here on the farm. Well, not growing in our orchard [I wish!], but if you have been here over the past few years you know that every summer I style some spaces on our farm and in our home with lemons & I started this summer in our greenhouse! How appropriate is that? Quite appropriate in my humble opinion. This was really exciting because I partnered with Martha Stewart for this lemon moment in the greenhouse & I’m so excited to share it with you…

All the items that I used for this happy little corner are from the Martha Stewart line at Macys from the bar cart to the lemon trays to the tea towels & even the recipes I used are Martha Stewart. I made some homemade lemonade & some homemade lemon cake that were both delicious and really set the mood for this fun greenhouse lemon party.

For the bar cart I used lemons as the decor which was super fun because it was cheap decor that made a big impact & I cut them up as needed for the lemonade so they didn’t go to waste. Fruit and veggies are always a fun way to amp up any dinner party or in this case an afternoon tea party. Use veggies or fruits that you used in your meal and accent your party with them by slicing them up or keeping them whole in your place settings or centerpiece. The sweet little lemon cups , the lemon cutting board, & the lemon tray are all Martha’s and they are all adorable. Ok… I wonder how many times I can say lemon in one post? I just love them so! I hope our little lemon tea party in the greenhouse inspires you in some small way. This to me felt like a good kickoff to summer this month here on the blog & I hope you are ready for many more summer posts to come! xx

There is nothing happier to me then bright lemons. The really just scream summer and how you have them styled is perfect. There is also nothing more “summer-y” then a greenhouse party. I love this so much.
This is precious! Such a happy feel with the lemons and the beautiful greenery. Thanks for all the inspiration Liz!
I wonder how long this stuff will sit in the greenhouse and rot like the Christmas decor did until more recently.
What happy photos! Lemons, lemonade, lemon poppyseed cake in a sunny corner. Love it..
Thank you!
Susan
Sweet! Looking forward to more of your Summer ideas.
This is so beautiful!!
This is very Beautiful you have such great eye on decorating…However I’m not trying to be rude but who actually sits in their Greenhouse and eats…lol..I have always loved your BLOG so much however…MOST everything you post now is so much just for show nothing is practical of true farm living and I know I grew up on a farm… and why do you always say our farmhouse? You have never really posted any pictures of your barn or your animals? Living in a FARMHOUSE is one thing but actually having a farm is a totally different thing. Your home is very Beautiful Liz but lets face it your BLOG has become nothing more than a show house and alot of you can find this here. I miss the old Liz Marie. Best Wishes to you and your family <3
