Wow, friends, it feels so strange to be writing this post. I can’t believe we held our first official book signing for Cozy White Cottage. It was truly my dream book signing event held at The Found Cottage! There are a lot of memorable moments along this blogging life that I live, and hosting a book signing event, at my store, is something I will never forget. I am so thankful for those that came out, for the employees of our store that took extra hours on Saturday, and of course all the vendors that traveled to support me. For those of you who couldn’t make it, I wanted to share a little summary of this day & share how special it was to me.

On Saturday, September 21st we held the first book signing for Cozy White Cottage and I wanted to launch this book adventure of mine with the ability to make your home cozy with some of my favorite vendors I have had the pleasure of meeting over that past few years… So we turned the book signing into a Mini-Market Party in the parking lot. Those friends of mine that joined us were HoneyHomb Market, Brooklyn Finds Design Co, Old Cottonwood, Jessica & Co Vintage, Olde Tyme Marketplace, The Cotton Shed, Zazzy’s Treasures and Design, and Robin’s Flower Gardens.

They set up in a tent outside The Found Cottage for our mini-market, and styled their booths so beautifully it oozed everything my book is about. WildRoast Coffee Co & The Petite Fleet joined us for coffee and lemonade refreshments and we had the best fall donuts from Post Family Farm. I love that it felt like one big market party & that you guys were able to find so many unique pieces you had been searching for.
There are so many different areas of gratitude and gratefulness I want to give, but the best part of it all was that I got to meet, hug, and chat with so many of you at the book signing. I will never forget the fun and unique stories that brought some of you to the book signing… from tears of similar struggles of fertility, to other fellow cozy enthusiast looking for inspiration..

I poured my heart and soul into this book for you guys … you are the reason I’m able to share my passions on the blog, Instagram, Facebook, and in this book! My hope is that no matter what stage in your life you are at, no matter what type of home you have, no matter what your decor style is you can take this book and find attainable tips for making your home cozy. Thank you so much for coming out to my book signing (if you were able) and showing all the love and support over social media and here on the blog. Please check out our page [here] dedicated to our upcoming Book Signing Events, we have a few coming up, and are working on more. Again, thank you-thank you for the support this week and for stopping by the blog today and every other day. Xx Liz Marie

Hi Liz,
It was so much fun to come to your book signing. You were the most gracious and kind hostess and spent time with each and everyone of us. I was excited you remember little ole me and my blog!!! I have “I have found the one my soul loves” that was hanging over your bed now over mine. I love that it was a feature in the book makes it even more special to now own. Your little guy is so handsome and cute. What a sweet personality he already has too. He was enjoying saying hi to all us chicks waiting in line to have you sign our books. What a beautiful day too. Congrats on your book. I love it.
Hugs,
Kris
Butts Security was proud to be invited to this great event. It was well organized and the staff went out of their way to make everyone happy. The Vendor Family was awesome as usual. Take care of Copeland and I will see you soon.
I am enjoying your book so much! It is very useful to me for so many reasons, besides being beautiful. I truly love your words about finding happiness in your own home. You are such a heartfelt, sincere writer. (You had me sobbing with your letter to Cope’s birthmother on Mother’s Day.) My daughter and I have been fan since Found Cottage opened. Thank you for your inspiration, ideas, and for sharing your beautiful faith and family!
